Your comment at 4:56 Pete is valid for all things - I say to my critics "I don't care what you say or think about me - frankly it's none of my business". It shuts criticism down immediately because the critic realises that I don't care what they think. It is a very liberating feeling.

Fabulous work guys,, so inspirational!!!! Absolutely Spot on with the fine details!!!! My day trip is now booked from Milton Keynes to Chester Cathedral to enjoy this layout for a whole day before it comes home in October to GETS.

Surprised given the space that the crossovers werent hand built for longer high speed operstion....i feel the rtr points should have been option B. The layout is that long I cant see longer turnouts would have affected the operation. Other than that its come on great. Be good to see it all illuminated.

I enjoy these videos but I have not been tempted to go and see the layout so far. These people would benefit from some proper programme management. They bicker far too much because of the lack of programme management.

I can understand why a casual observer might mistake bickering within the videos. What you are actually observing is creativity in the raw, without which this or the previous two stunning layouts quite possibly would not exist. Apart from the great insights we choose to expose, everyone contributes somewhere. It may be noticeable, or hidden, but anyone involved can and does have their say. All of the team are volunteers who give their time, creativity and ideas freely. If you know of anyone who can offer programme management, then please come and see us, state your case and “we’ll let you know”. I suspect that the first thing a programme manager might be looking for are a new batch of volunteers with ideas to manage?

@DaveFenton A bit sensitive aren't you? I think you misunderstand programme management. It has nothing to do with changing people or preventing the flow of ideas. Quite the opposite In fact. If you don't like comments unless they praise you, disable them.
