Im glad you found happiness and authenticity and comfort in your videos, dude. Everytime you upload it’s such a fun comfort watch. Your stuff has kept me company on tedious morning drives to the supermarket (when I didn’t realize we were out of milk….!!) and term papers. You obviously have a lot of passion for what you talk about and I hope you’re having fun. Thanks for sharing your journey with us at the end. Remember thag traction isn’t everything, and try to keep that spark of joy and fun with you. Even if these videos don’t « blow up, » it’s more worth it to make something you enjoy and are proud of. I know from first hand experience lol and from what you said you do too. Have a great day man and thank you

I really love Andrea too, and as a writer who *still* hasn't found her "brand" yet, her identity loss after Davenport's is no longer the richest thing in town is both relatable and tearjerking.

You kinda nailed it with cartoons' portrayal of social media. I'm always irked when I see shows that have crap like videos the characters make becoming viral megahits overnight, or treating texting not as something kids do to communicate and socialise over long distances, but just as something they do for its own sake like it's a pastime or something. Speaking as a parent myself, while.I will freely admit my kid is maybe a bit too hooked on his tablet when at home, he still readily goes on playdates and hangs out with friends at the playground or whatever.

I know this is completely off topic but has anyone else noticed that Disney loves this trend of introducing a one dimensional rich girl bully who eventually gets a redemption arc that involves a toxic relationship with one or both of their parents? Pacifica, Amity, and Andrea have all gotten that treatment.
@Jessicanimation
@Jessicanimation 10 ай бұрын
I disagree with the one-dimensional part, since all these characters have gone through development over the course of their respective shows. Character development doesn't happen overnight and just as Andrea who runs the Geode Club puts it, "break them open and they reveal their inner beauty."
@alexisalonso7714
@alexisalonso7714 10 ай бұрын
What I meant by that was they started off as one dimensional, go back to the introduction episode for all three characters, at the start all three appeared to be stereotypical one dimensional mean girls that we’ve seen a dozen times before in media, but then as all three series went on, all three girls got developed and started to show that they were way more well rounded characters than previously thought to be

I don't know how I feel about the "easily forgiven bully" redemption arc trope. Interestingly, Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken is sort of the opposite.

@alexisalonso7714 10 ай бұрын
@@lordfreerealestate8302 I haven't seen Ruby Gillman so I can't really speak on that point, but I do agree with where you are coming from, so many shows do the forgive bullies/villains thing nowadays and It gets tiring, I would love to see a show that shows a victim becoming more confident and just not putting up with their bully's crap anymore, The Owl House kind of did that with Willow and Boscha but it was never properly explored, the lesson of not letting toxic people hold you down is important, and I wish more shows were more willing to show that, rather than bullies constantly being redeemed and automatically forgiven.

I genuinely love the direction the writers went to making Andrea more likeable The episodes where she would sorta antagonize Molly or was the cause of the conflict were not the best in my opinion She works more as being one of her friends There’s also this detail I noticed in the song where during the verse of Andrea trying to make a baking video there’s recommended video u can see at the down right of the screen a video that says “What HAPPENED to Andrea Davenport?” Which feels very accurate to videos I’ve seen on my feed whenever an influencer shows even a small sign of change or suspicious behavior I also wanna mention how the Identity Crisis song actually became semi-popular on tiktok which is just really nice to see

A great video about Andrea Davenport and her latest episode, which I do think focuses more on Andrea rediscovering herself as a person after Davenport's store closes, rather than social media, even though it's a part of who she is. I hope that things go well for Andrea Davenport as the series continues to progress.

I loved the song. Rebrand sticks in the head. I watched it a lot and noticed that they basically recycle past outfits from the main characters over and over. no new outfits. The episode also said some thing about KZfaq and how had it is to get views when you change subjects. Growing up we had VHS tapes and no internet and we had to get inspired by Monty Python and Simpsons and Seinfeld. Editing equipment wasn't sold locally and to get aired you needed a local TV studio or enter America's Funniest Home Videos. cameras were huge and bulky and hard to get. Costumes and props weren't sold. Every thing had to be home made on your skill. Most friends didn't even want to be bothered or didn't know how to act.

Then after binging a few Once Said videos I discovered your video about Ollie Chen & I was sucked in at that point, because it’s hard for me to find commentary channels that talk about shows I like in a positive manner, I understand that nothing is perfect but I feel like a lot of reviewers & commentary channels obsess over the flaws of something that they kinda ruin the fun of watching shows & movies.

I love Davenport's in Demise, but I have to disagree with the Bizmart guy. Personally, having a scene after the end of Davenport's on Demand foredshadowing this guy being trouble was kinda wasted IMO. I get what Bill and Bob was trying to do, but I am not a fna of that. I also diagree with him being an uninteresting antagonist. Sure compared to the Chen's and especially Jinx, he probably would be the weakest antagonist, but I would argue that you can make him interesting. Mr. Burns from the Simpsons is a great example of that type of busines like antagonist. Now that being said, despite my isssue with the Bizmart guy, that doesn't hurt my opinion on Davenport's in Demise in the slightest. I can overlook all that just because of how it handled Andrea's character. You pretty much said what I wanted to say about not just Andrea's character, but internet culture as a whole. I consider it Andrea's best episode to date. Also I love the message at the end. Great job Chandler. I been watching (or listening in terms of podcasts) since your Phineas and Ferb staffer projects and I look forward to seeing what you have in store for the future. ^_^

I think that’s a rather negative and reductive way to read it. The whole point of the episode is that she keeps trying to be something she’s not. There’s nothing inherently wrong with being an influencer or a content creator, and I’m really glad that the show doesn’t take a stance against it. It’s entirely possible to be authentic and successful. The whole point is that she DOESN’T have to change herself to get the validation of others.

Sunnyland Productions just to let you know I'm also a fan of the show The Ghost and Molly McGee, before that I was a fan of similar shows which you probably know are classics. I hope you remember The Addams Family, The Munsters and Casper the friendly Ghost ? I hope you were a fan of those shows as well ? I was a big fan of those Halloween like ghost and monster TV shows, and at the same time I was a fan of Vampirina. Which was a popular hit for Disney, from the Disney Junior side. I hope you remember Vampirina, I hope you loved that show ? And then after the success of Vampirina, I never knew that a similar animated show would come to Disney Channel. But instead of a vampire, a monster are ghosts trying to be friends with who knows how many humans. It was a ghost who was haunting a house, until a young teenage girl and her family picked that haunted house to live in after moving I don't know how many times before that. And at first she wasn't scared of a ghost, the ghost try to scare her but she wasn't fighting. She became obsessed that ghosts are real, and at the same time she thought she can be permitted as friends with the ghost. In which he didn't wanted to at first, but later on they did become close friends, and the ghost became part of the girl's family. And then afterwards she made other friends as well, who were humans. And they two became friends with the ghost. So basically this show is kind of the opposite direction, in Vampirina she and her family move from Transylvania to a town in Pennsylvania. She was hoping to make new friends, because shemissed her old friends from Transylvania. Of course she made two friends who are girls just like her, except they were humans. They were scared of her at first, but they became close friends afterwards and part of Vampirina's family. So in this show The Ghost and Molly McGee, that became an opposite direction similar to to the animated show Vampirina from Disney Junior. So basically I love both Vampirina and The Ghost and Molly McGee. Now just to tell you I know it sounds crazy, however I'm kind of hoping if they'll be a crossover episode in The Ghost and Molly McGee. I'm hoping that Vampirina will visit Brighton as a vacation, I also hope that Vampirina's friends Bridget, Poppy and Poppy's brother Edgar. Will also be with Vampirina and her family to visit Brighton. And at some point along the way I hope they'll get lost and end up parking in the side of the Street, in front of the house of Scratch and the McGees. I hope that both Molly and scratch will notice a car that looks like a spooky or Halloween type car, and that they should find out who it is. So they can welcome them to Brighton, and at the same time I hope that Libby and Andrea had been in a sleepover before that. At the house of Scratch and the McGees, and so when Scratch and Molly prepare to greet them. They will notice that it's a vampire family, in which Scratch will be surprised and happy to see. And Molly will be the same thing, and for the first time she'll meet a vampire family. And that she'll find out that there are three human kids at the time. And that they should have them to meet the McGees and Molly's to human best friends, and that they from the house can welcome Vampirina, her family and her friends to Brighton. And that they should stay at their house for a while, before they go back to Pennsylvania. So that wayay Vampirina, her family and her friends can be able to have a nice vacation and special stay in Brighton. And most important of all I hope that Scratch, Molly and vampirina can become new friends. I hope that Vampirina's parents can be new friends with Molly's parents, I also hope that Daryl and Edgar Poppy's brother can be new friends. And of course I hope Poppy & Bridget can become new friends with Libby and Andrea, oh yeah and I hope that Molly's boyfriend Olly will be there too. And I hope you'll become you friends with Poppy's brother Edgar, so that way Olly, Daryl and Edgar can do the things of what boys do and of course Scratch has to be with them too. And of course I know the other characters which are the girls, can do things like with girls do together. In which people called girly stuff. And of course I hope that vampirina will join them too. So I really hope they'll be like a two-part crossover episode in The Ghost and Molly McGee, featuring Vampirina, her family and her friends. And it should be like a silly, funny, family-friendly and heartwarming two-part crossover episode. In fact talk about this for the next video, because someday I hope it could be a possibility that a two-part crossover episode can be done some day for The Ghost and Molly McGee. And just to let you know, the character designs from vampirina. If they were to be recreated in 2D animation, the designs of the characters would definitely fit for The Ghost and Molly McGee character designs. I hope you'll talk about it for the next video ?

I’ve never watched Vampirina. Nothing against it, it’s just never been on my radar in the same way as Muppet Babies or Spidey were. I don’t think they’d do a crossover with a Disney Junior show, much less a CGI one with an entirely different world and rules.
@DanielGomez-gw4kt
@DanielGomez-gw4kt 10 ай бұрын
@@SunnylandProds I'm sorry you never seen Vampirina, and yeah I know the animation is CGI with that show. But one time they did like a series of music videos featuring those characters, they are known as the ghoul girls music videos. And they actually used 2D animation to bring those music videos to life. So having them to cross over into 2D animation is a great idea, because don't forget it's Disney. Anything is possible. And the rules of both shows, I don't know about that. But it could be a possibility as well, because don't forget it's Disney. They have amazing producers and amazing writers, even though The Ghost and Molly McGee it's supposed to be a animated comedy and fun to watch for older kids. Still along the way like you said in some of your videos, the writers can sometimes come up with dramatics and heartwarming moments. And there have been some really good episodes that became like the best episodes, featuring dramatic and heartwarming moments. Like wine or a couple of episodes about Andrea, where Molly really helps her with very good ideas. So Andrea wouldn't be too over dramatic, it was also that episode where Libby has been wondering of why Molly was a little strange. And Libby thought Molly probably did not wanted to be her friend anymore, so Molly had to reveal the truth that her other best friend was a ghost. I've seen that episode I don't know how many times, at first I thought Libby would be too scared, and would not want to be friends with Molly anymore. But that never happened, am I understanding it was like the case of jealousy between Libby and Scratch. Until in one moment Molly almost got chopped into pieces in a big grinding machine, Libby and Scratch realize that she was in trouble. So Scratch saved her, and Libby was relieved. Then after that all three became very close friends. And I do remember episodes from Vampirina where there were dramatic moments, but above all there were heartwarming moments. Because the show with for younger kids. So both shows have the same thing in common. So that's why I think it should be a good idea that the producers of The Ghost and Molly McGee should you do a crossover two-part episode, featuring the characters from Vampirina. Because both shows would have heartwarming and dramatic moments, the truth is it's the power of family and friendship that makes both shows really popular. And don't forget it's Disney, nothing is impossible at Disney

That’s just it, we haven’t seen or heard of her before (although Mewline has already been established) but like I said, she was actually in Chibi Tiny Tales in the “Scratch, Molly’s third wheel” several months before this episode aired. I don’t think she’s gonna show up again in this season, but if we get a third season, they definitely wanna do more with her.

@@SunnylandProds they really do be trying to tear down all possible ships this season and create brand new one's with characters not from the first season if I had a nickel every time that happened I would have 3 nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice all joking aside I am glad they didn't have the molly andrea romance personally because I feel like the main character dating the former rich bratty kid who just wants the approval of her parents trope is happening a lot between amity and luz adora and catra heck even fan ships like dipper and pacifica or anne and sasha

Is there a connection between Andrea Davenport and tennis player Lindsay Davenport? They both share the same last name, but are the two actually related?

Nope, Andrea Davenport is named for the town of Davenport, Iowa!

Really, if anyone really wants to see a more focused story with the big ceo guy, Big City Greens already does this in spades with Chip Whistler.

Hello 👋 😊 I admit the part where she tries to rebrand reminds me of how KZfaq can pressure people to make so much content 😅 25.8.23
