You guys certainly earn your shots and your cigars! I Have hunted the Merriam turkey in the panhandle of Oklahoma the past 3 seasons and I think they are the prettiest of the different turkey breeds!

Got a great idea for a video. Maybe before the season starts you do a full layout of the gear you are tending to start with. Your clothes your calls if you are planning to start with. And a video of those stuff that you had to change out through the year of turkey season

I watch all your hunts l don't remember ever seeing you use a crow call just wondering why l have been using one for almost 40 years not all the time but it has helped me locate many a turkey thanks for your videos

Western Weather. That just about sums it up out here. It could be 75 one day and have a foot of snow on the ground by morning. Love the western hunts since it where I call home. I'm sure interested in trying an eastern bird though. Hope 2022 is treating you well so far, Dave.

I always found that western birds liked friction better than mouth yelpers, they carry better for locating and found more like western hens.

If you actually took time to watch his videos, you would know that he teaches many important lessons that the younger generation needs to learn. He teaches conservation, good hunting ethics, appreciating the harvest and many more. If smoking a cigar is the after killing a turkey is the worst thing they learn, I would say that’s pretty good in a world we have today.

I saw people smoke cigs everyday when I was a young in and I have never touched a tobacco product. Smoke em if ya got em boys!!
