Love the public woods when it’s raining because the turkeys don’t have a rain hotel they can go to and usually I have the whole place to myself. ANOTHER great hunt Dave.

I love hunting public land in the rain for the same reason. Most of these fair weather hunters go home and I have killed several in the rain

I’d like to see a video or two on how you take care of your gear like calls, cloths, gun and also how you take care of the meat and trophy of the turkey while your so far away from home while being on the road. Love the videos.

Great hunt, and way to stick with it. I know several guys who won’t turkey hunt in the rain, and they definitely wouldn’t get out there in the rain like you did. Learned a lot from this episode.

Pretty sure that is the most I've ever heard you call to a gobbling turkey. Because the hen was answering you? I know I've had good luck calling in the hens and having the gobbler follow.

What is your reasoning behind calling after the kill?... Did you have a 2nd tag you could have filled? I ask because we can't shoot two birds at the same time here in Ontario.

Its a RunCam. Its not the most reliable and the footage can be misleading. It doesn't look like that when it comes off the camera. It requires quite a bit of editing and color correction to be presentable. I'm not sure there is a perfect gun camera.

When scouting what is the definitive #1 thing that says turkeys in the area? I’m having a tough time finding them.

Trent Brownlee Turkey poop, feathers, and tracks. I usually try to find good roosting areas first, but I still consider myself a beginner so that’s all the advice I can give.
