Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZfaq, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZfaq. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZfaq, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

My favorite Bowie album. Bought it in 72 when it came out as a 14 year old and it changed my life. Mick Ronsons soaring guitars are amazing. The Spiders were a great band.

I still have my album. Every song is amazing. The last track Rock n Roll Suicide is perfection. Mick Ronson the guitarist had a fantastic solo career, until his much too early death, after being a Spider from Mars. ✌️❤️🎶

Bowie couldn't miss in this time period. If you want to hear some of the best piano in a song, try David Bowie's Aladdin Sane. BTW, the version on David Live is best.

This is a very trippy song! To witness its effects on an audience, check out the movie concert, Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. The concert was shot by a 8 mm home movie camera that captures a historic moment, when David Bowie announces this concert as being his last! What he really meant was, it was his last as Ziggy!

This is the music of when I was about 18 and 19. And of course loved it ever after forever. But yeah great reaction and I'm so glad it hit you. I mean this is something I could put on top volume til my eardrums bleed and just let it roll. And it was so revolutionary for the time. Check out his rocking banger, Suffragette City, also a huge hit.

Ned from Spain saying that it;s fantastic that you are appreciating one of the all time great musicians, artists, innovators and human beings. This was the album that took him to the top. Hunky Dory is great but Ziggy was the breakout LP thanks to Woody on drums, Trevor on bass and the awe inspiring Mick " Ronno" Ronson on guitar. The live version from DA Pennebakers documentary of the 1973 Ziggy tour is off the hook.

I can't wait until you get to his Young Americans album. In particular, the songs Right, Somebody Up There Likes Me, Can You Hear Me, and Win. Some great sax during Fascination. I really love your style! It should be noted that there is 5 minute version of Moonage Daydream on his David Live album. The version on the soundtrack to the Ziggy Stardust movie is just a few seconds over 6 minutes. Thom in Toronto ♥️🇨🇦

Hello Shawn, I thought I'd suggest a new group to give a listen, if interested. "The Pretenders - Brass In Pocket (I'm Special) - Top of the Pops" (by the channel: Reno Rains) -- This song is by the English American rock band "The Pretenders." it was released in 1979 as the third single from their self-titled debut album. The song was written by Chrissie Hynde and James Honeyman- Scott and produced by Chris Thomas. The Pretenders were formed in 1978. The original band consisted of founder and primary songwriter Chrissie Hynde (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), James Honeyman-Scott (lead guitar, backing vocals, keyboard), Pete Farndon (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Martin Chambers (drums, backing vocals, percussion). Following the deaths of Honeyman-Scott and Farndon in 1983 the band experienced many personal changes; the one consistent member has been Chrissie Hynde. They're style crossed over into several genres of music, which included rock, pop rock, new wave, and alternative rock....so lots of bangers to explore in future, if interested. Shawn you're doing such a fantastic job and as always, I enjoy your reactions and commentary. Keep up the great work, bro. We appreciate you.

This was about the heaviest song and album Dave gifted to us. I forget how heavy it actually was, especially toward the end there. In high school, early 70s, we would ride across town in a "traveling motel" with surround sound, and with either this tape, or Dark Side of the Moon, playing. Sometimes Cheech & Chong. Our own private Wayne's World, heads bobbing, smoke pouring from the van. Never wanting for good sounds.

Personally as a life long Bowie fan this song is one of my favourites. I've seen him 4 times. But, I personally was disappointed with the live version of this song then, and am still. It doesn't even sound the same. The production quality in this song is so clear and immaculate, but mostly lost with the live version.

RIP: David Bowie💔🔥🎤U R Missed I don't know if this would interest you, but Bowie did an interview where he criticized MTV for not playing videos by black artists. Here's the interview, if interested. "David Bowie Interview with Mark Goodman 1983" (by the channel: Soul man) And I thought I'd suggest another black female artist to give a listen, if interested. "Nina Simone - Don't let Me Be Misunderstood (Live 1968)" (by the channel: MrMaxairistas) --This song was one of six songs written by Bennie Benjamin and Sol Marcus for Nina Simone's 1964 album called "Broadway blues Ballads" it also features Nina Simone singing a few standards and folk songs. The album was very successful and is considered one of her best works. Nina Simone was an American singer, songwriter, pianist, composer and civil rights activist. Her work spanned out across several genres of music including classical, folk, gospel, blues, jazz, R&B, and even pop. Over the 1960's she became one of the most popular female music and fashion icons, yet she never achieved a number #1 hit single. In the 1970's she faced mental and financial hardships, which gave rise to speculation that her career might have ended. However, she made a comeback in the 1980's and earned herself and iconic status. She was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2018 by Mary J, Blige.
