WHAAAAAT…. OMG HAP, You’re only the second person I know of to ever react to this AMAZINGLY TALENTED woman, Gail Ann Dorsey… THANK YOU, SOOO MUCH! Gail Ann toured with David Bowie for 20 years and is highly respected in the music industry. FYI… There’s a performance that’s MUCH BETTER than this one: Gail Ann actually SINGS THE SAME HIGH NOTES, LIVE, THAT FREDDIE DID IN-STUDIO!🤯 (I think it may have been the first time she performed the song w David, IDK, and I’m sure it’s just something she couldn’t do repeatedly in every show. David also “made a point” of introducing her in the other video… Maybe he forgot here, because the duet had become a “standard” part of the tours by then.)

OMG! Those voices! Two legends together somehow! No words. May I request your reaction to another 2 legends actually live onstage?, David Bowie and Tina Turner, they did 2 songs live together in 1985: "Tonight", and "Let's Dance". Number one voice. Freddy, number 2 voice: David, Number 3 voice: Tina. But legends are the three of them for sure, and David and Tina together in 85 were something worth reacting to.

There’s a much better version where Gail Ann sings the same high notes (or similar, IDK if they’re exactly the same) as Freddie sang on the studio recording 🖖

Honestly? It's hard to hear anyone try to do a Freddie song... no one compares. Ok, I got that out. Great homage to a legend. Great reaction as always. Hap ✌️ ☮️ 🥷

A "Freddie" song? Freddie did awesome, however Bowie had a lot more ownership over the artistic vision of the song than Freddie, or Queen for that matter. Great choice Chris, although I always have mixed feelings about following in Freddie's footsteps, so to speak. But of course it's also David's song and Gail has an amazing voice and does her best. I've already noticed Gail positively at other live performances like Space Boy. She seems to be a pretty good bass player and does a great job contributing her vocals and supporting David. Fantastic and respectful reaction HAP🤩🙋🏻♀️.

Aww man. This version is ok. More than OK, but their best version is absolutely the one from Dublin here than you have to check out aswell kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i8WYktR8vZ7Ip40.htmlsi=xWt1ht_5_a7nZmmq It's different and more lively. And I actually prefer that one over Queen's oeiginal. And I adore Freddie Mercury but yeah. This doesn't really do it justice to what they can actually sound like together. Gail Ann Dorsey is lovely. She played with Bowie fron 1994, I think, to when he stopped touring after his heart attack in 2004. She also was on his last album with bass and vocals. She sang with him quite alot on stage and was very front and center. I remember reading an interview with her where she said she cried when he asked if she wanted to do Under Pressure with him because she's a massive Queen and Freddie Mercury fan. She's also made a song about her experience with Bowie called Magical. It's very sweet.

Don't know what to say about that. Homage or not, it only shows painfully imo no one can sing like Freddie. And no one ever will.
