David Byrne performing live at Estadio Chile in Santiago on 24th May 1990 - this is a great TV capture of a great concert!
This tour was in support of David's first solo studio album (Rei Momo, released in 1989) and it was his first time performing in Chile, since Talking Heads had never been there. This video contains 9 songs from Rei Momo, 2 Talking Heads songs, and 2 covers - Depois Que O Ilê Passar (originally by Caetano Veloso) and Todo Cambia (originally by Mercedes Sosa)
Setlist:
0:00:00 - TV introduction (with some audience interviews)
0:05:41 - The Rose Tattoo
0:09:40 - Depois Que O Ilê Passar
0:14:55 - The Dream Police
0:17:51 - Mr. Jones
0:23:02 - Dirty Old Town
0:27:50 - TV break
0:28:30 - Marching Through the Wilderness
0:33:20 - Women vs. Men
0:39:17 - Todo Cambia
0:44:40 - Independence Day
0:50:10 - Loco De Amor
0:54:16 - Don't Want to Be Part of Your World
0:59:10 - Burning Down the House
1:03:25 - Make Believe Mambo
1:10:10 - TV outro (with more audience interviews)
Like a lot of TV broadcasts of concert, it unfortunately didn't include the entire show. It's unknown exactly what songs were cut out, but Psycho Killer was played according to a user on setlist.fm - www.setlist.fm/setlist/david-...
When posting footage I always do research to credit all the band members, but I've not been able to find any complete list of the Rei Momo touring band members. There's some who can be easily identified because they also appear in the Uh-Oh tour, but they're not all the same. If you know where I can find a full Rei Momo touring band list, please let me know!

Thanks for uploading this. I was there. I remember the sound being terrible at the venue, so the musicians were fighting against that.

@OhNoCompassion Hola, excelente video. Solamente quería hacer una corrección de la descripción del video. La canción "Todo Cambia" no fue compuesta por la argentina Mercedes Sosa (quien la hizo conocida en gran parte del mundo), sino por la chilena Violeta Parra. Saludos!

He’s always been experimental with music including that of other cultures, as seen with Talking Heads - I zimbra, for example, and never stuck with one style specifically throughout their albums. He just took a greater interest in Latin pop culture and found the language and their musicians interesting - and collaborated with them, and I see nothing wrong with that This is not “cultural appropriation” or anything of the like, he respected the culture and the Latin people enjoyed what he did as well.
