I saw him in Memphis just a short time after 9-11. We sat right up front and he had a 9 piece band with him. A truly memorable and incredible performances by all. I had no idea what a great showman David Clayton-Thomas is. He lifted our spirit's at a time of national grieving. Thanks David!!

Minus the legendary trumpet solo from Lew Soloff (which few can duplicate), this performance - and the backup band - is exemplary.

This is my absolute favorite, favorite favorite version of God Bless the Child. I introduced my children who are seven years apart, born 1988 & 1995, 2 dughters.. However, everybody talks about the Billie Holiday version, and I was introduced with Diana Ross for the biographical movie. But you guys blood sweat and tears are my absolute favorite!!!

One of the greatest horn bands that got it's start in the late 60's - Blood Sweat 7 Tears. Other bands that started in the 60's were Chicago, Cold Blood, Tower of Power. Get and education, dude, Listen to them all. You'll hear some of the best music ever made. that's why those bands are still alive today.

@@Keyboardman88 except the band in this video is NOT Blood, Sweat and Tears. Maybe someone else needs the education.
