@gamer_it6025 ye the board not ten hag... and it wasnt decreased by enough. He couldve taken the 150k a week they were offering which is more than enough but he wanted more. Hence why hes still a free agent too cus its overpriced. Great keeper but too much wages. Id have probably settled to give him 200k for 2 years and not got mount and onana though but i think we wanted like 250k a week. Not worth it even for 1 year

As an Arsenal fan, I remember this game, we lost 3-1 even tho we absolutely battered them, I will admit De Gea was on form that night and it was genuinely one of the best performances ever from a Goalkeeper.

What puzzled me is: let's say ETH wants to go in another direction, with Onana. OK, go ahead. But why let DDG leave like that, and then purchase another goalkeeper for a few million quid? Surely De Gea would have at the very least provided competition (though he is a better goalkeeper than Onana) as well as a positive influence in the dressing room? Baffling.

I’m a man united fan and I feel like the way that de gea was treated as he was forced out of the club was disgusting, he saved our results and team countless times and when he was in the prime of his career he saved us from being a mid table side, an incredible goalkeeper and it’s a true shame he didn’t get a move to real to get the rewards he deserved for performing at such a high level for so long with such loyalty

This man is the difference for points won last season in games that we should concede more goals in than we did but...... this season with onana in goal all teams have to do is just keep their shot on target.
