My mum loved Terry Wogan too! I remember growing up to his great breakfast show on radio, he was so funny, but also nice. Music business is as murky as any other. How else could a nonentity like Harry Styles become an international star? Capital Radio for example, played his songs relentlessly over the past year, and dropped his name at least once between every single record they played, like there was some kind of commercially driven campaign to make Harry Styles “happen” by beating audiences into submission.

She might be married got children and l can understand things can never be like in the past but it would be great to have met just for good times sake, so many people say to me move on but it can be hard, maybe as time goes on l will move on but l will never forget her.

I've got that episode recorded, it's the series that includes the Hampton Wick serial with Madeline Smith!

@@carolroberts4614 I’m sure Maddie in Hampton Wick was the 1971 series?
@carolroberts46147 ай бұрын
Sirknight1399, I'm not sure, because we have it on a compilation put together not long before Ronnie Barker died.

A song that has meaning, and like other say under rated and miles better than singing about bloody sausage rolls at Christmas.

That's exactly my point. We should have proper recording artists for Christmas number 1 like any other time of year

Shared a flat with a friend who was not the most demonstrably emotional person you could know, but whenever this came on, there would be a cough and a handkerchief would come out. And it resonates with me now, too, due to one person in particular. Yes - it's hugely underappreciated.
