gilmour destroys. love this guy so much. goat? god who knows? when i listen to david i feel differently than i do when anyone else plays. that means something.

I agree Tre! I've been a huge David Gilmour fan since I heard his solo in Time way back in 1973. There are a lot of greats, but DG pulls the emotion out of you. His playing has been known to make men cry!

David is one of the all time greats he has a grand houseboat called Astoria that was built in 1911 that has been adapted as a recording studio he seems to have a strong love for water.love and peace.

The only bad thing about this, is that it ends. Love seeing Rick Wright in there. This is one of my absolute favorites.
@ralphushansen53283 жыл бұрын
It does, unfortunately, end. So many artists and musicians that we grew up with and love, are gone. Rick Wright was such an integral part of Pink Floyd as well as a part of David's solo band. Rick sang a song on The Division Bell album called Wearing the Inside Out. It was haunting perfection- kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n56TiZSmxpbbiXU.html

@ Kelly Delay Tre reacted to Echoes from Gdansk a while back but it might be gone after everything got stripped down.

Your baby!!!! ;-) Glad you're doing it again, with the video now!!! Still BANGER!!! Thanks Tre and thanks David!!!!!

Great reaction as usual Tre! Gotta give these two a try from the Remember That Night DVD. Its here on KZfaq. No orchestra, but the solos are more subdued, insightful and emotionally introspective it seems. Both are out of this world and a favourite can be chosen solely depending on what mood one is in. Stay safe and happy holidays, man!

Something about this track.... Gilmore has got a knack of building the intensity of the music and it's still super smooth....he is One-of-a-kind ✌️🇬🇧

love "the black strat", which sold for $3.9 million without his Jimi Hendrix guitar strap
@michaelmayfield31583 жыл бұрын
Tre, you need to do 'High Hopes' & 'In Any Tongue' from this concert. It is definitely worth the watch and IMHO, the best version I've seen/listened to of these two songs. He's also playing the black cat guitar which sold for just under $4 million. I think it was to the Indianapolis Colts owner. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this.
@jim52473 жыл бұрын
this is pink floyd . in any tongue" was Dave solo work not written at this time. go to David Gilmour " Live at Pompeii" the third best solo ever. # 1 comfortably #2 'sorrow"

David's guitar strap belonged to Jimi Hendrix; his wife bought it for him.

Ok Tre, He's the GOAT on the island. Love David, but off the island? other GOATs have their island. AND then there are the real GOATs....only a few...
@pfinnigan703 жыл бұрын
Mm... so who's the real GOATS?? This will be interesting🤔 Better than Gilmour😂 Prob shredder lover. Can't wait to see!!
@Thomas-aka-TomD3 жыл бұрын
@@pfinnigan70 Antoine Dufour, Al Dimeola, George Benson, Tommy Emmanuel, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, Pat Methany to name a few..... David has his style and I appreciate it very much, But I can also play most of his material myself. The guys that I mentioned can go places I can only dream about as far as playing. David is the GOAT of his island....thats praise enough. I'm talking strictly guitar playing.... Nothing wrong with shredding if you have more in the arsenal...
@deeg88493 жыл бұрын
GOAT? He’s good but not the greatest my man. But we all have our own views, so I respect your choice (but disagree).
@pfinnigan703 жыл бұрын
Like who?? The shredders😬 No son, Gilmour plays like no other! Shredders might be fast and some play with soul like Gilmour but there is only 1 David Gilmour. Sadly he is getting on and may only have a few more years for us true fans to indulge in his greatness. Then we'll be left with the shredders😥
