I have the Unit 67 which is awesome. Don't like so much the orange squeezer types, but the preamp is interesting

That is a great sounding compression pedal, I have been using Demeter Compulator for the past 3 years. Now I’m going to take a better look at this one. Thank you for this demo.

this is a good sounding compressor. you can really hear the... how to describe it... pop of the guitar and the longer notes with the compressor. i have no idea what release is though.

Release is the tail of the compression.

Hey bjorn, another great video as always! Wondering if you've seen the Hi Power by Crazy Tube Circuits - it's based on a coloursound Powerboost on one side and a Hiwatt d103 amp on the other? Designed to get Gilmours tones apparently, I bet you could work some magic out of it!

I have an Effectrode pc2a and the LA 1 A plus Cali 76, is it worth still getting the Drybell module 4? How do they compare? The Drybell looks extremely good.

They all have different qualities. The Effectrode is more subtle, with more headroom, while the Cali is perhaps closer to the Module 4. Personally I like the Module 4 better than the Cali. A matter of taste.

Does it make sense to buy it if I have Drybell Unit 67, or is it overkill?

Depends on what you need a compressor to do. The 67 has one control for compression and a powerful EQ and clean boost. The Module expands on that single knob compressor.

Well as expected youtube sound quality is way too poor (even with high quality headphones) to hear any difference between the compressor off or on. They both sound the same and I'm yet to hear any good reason why people need compression other than a slight amount on recordings :)

Yes KZfaq video compression makes it hard to hear but I think you definitely can hear a smoother tone if you know what to listen for. Compression is perhaps more a feel rather than an obvious effect.
