He's spot on. Game is too much about tactics now instead of giving freedom to players to do wonderful things with the ball. Growing up i see players like Romario, Baggio, R9, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Rivaldo, Figo, Giggs, Henry, Bergkamp etc doing amazing things. Now it's all about tactics. Attacking players being defensive. Not as entertaining as it used to be
@stuwkd123
@stuwkd123 5 жыл бұрын
Indeed. Back then in most cases it was simple 4 4 2 lets attack and win. Now its 5 at the back and 3 in midfield, parking the bus and trying not to get beat. Obviously i still love football as well as being entertained by it, but i feel as though there's just far to money involved in the game now, thst its more business then anything else.

Also imagine players like Rui costa? Where can they fit in any system now? The right and left midfielders were specialist in crosses. Now they have been overtaken by wingers who are more of a scorer. This in turn is creating less and less classic target man type of players. I have watched football all my life and this is probably the worst time i am having as a spectator. Even the Italians cant defend properly now. For fucks sake somebody tell me when its gonna change?
