I lost my husband the same day my dad had triple bypass surgery. We were home only an hour and he died of a massive stroke and was brain dead. Its been so hard. This is our song. I miss him and love him so much❤😢

My wife loved the ocean...She suffered a a lot of abuse in her life...first from her adopters...Then the military she was forced into...But at a very low point in my life SHE FOUND ME! We married... we did have problems but worked them out. We loved each other madly....and we had a beautiful baby girl in 10/25/99. But my wife found she had bone cancer and by 01/12/2001 My wife, my beautiful Mary was gone. She sailed away to the shores of God...and I here on the other shore wait...... to "Sail Away"..

The song reminds me of my husband of 20 years I'm going through divorce I don't know how it ever came this far we used to listen to this song all the time I don't know why I'm listening to it Saturday night quarantine I try to stay away from music that makes me think of him but I love this song and I love babylon-david-gray is a great artist

this song is my song to my husband who died in 2013. i just cannot get past losing him. from the outside i am doing fine. On the inside everything is broken. i cannot wait to see you again my darling Chris. xxx

My husband Brian loved this song. He sang it to me over the phone from Denmark when I was in Florida. He passed away suddenly January 27, 2021 and it gets harder with each passing day. I lost my friend Cliffy to cancer earlier this year. He was the consummate child of the sea breeze and was at home on the water. Let behind is his loving wife Julie and sons Justin and Zack, father and mother. They miss him so much and Cliffy and Jules have a boat that they shared many tender moments together. Moments that were cut short but the memories cannot be taken or erased.
