David, when this came out I was homeless, in and out of jail, and unhealthy. Now I have a house, a good job, and a husband. This song and “Clover Cage - The Lone Dancer” are the two songs that helped with my depression. I just want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together. I love you ❤️

This song was one of the elements that saved me from a possible suicide. I was in high school, with almost no friends, suffering from bullying and no life purpose. I remember countless nights after homework, listen to the song on headphones, crying in silence and singing it to give myself motivation for another day of school the following day. Today, as a 27-year-old, I still listen to this song as a way to gain strength for life. Despite some great things that happened to me, some things are not going well, and I am anxious because my aspirations are big and have some life frustrations, nothing compared to the huge depression I experienced as a teenager. Thank you, Sia, for creating this masterpiece for all of us who have broken hearts, for all of us who smile but are somewhat broken inside. Because it will be only a bad day, we are stronger and can handle everything.

I miss these old songs. Most music videos don’t even have a story anymore.

This song makes me weep, maybe the boy being hunted down by adults. The boy seems so vulnerable. Having lost a 16-year-old son to suicide perhaps makes me over sensitive. This song in conjunction with Faure's "Pavane" by a pianist/cello duo, can really make me lose it. "Pavane" makes me cry as well. I watch "Titanium" as often as possible to harden myself. The suicide took place in 1997, but still I will never be over it. I hope if any young people read this, I hope you realize that "not being" is never a solution. Sorry - am stepping down from my soapbox now.

Apparently Sia sent this song to Guetta with her singing as a demo - she was gonna sell him the song and he was supposed to get another person to sing her part but when he heard THIS he decided (thank God) to completely overrule her and he put the song out with her voice. I can't imagine hearing someone else singing this, so thanks Dave 😂🎶👌🏻
