David Hildago just tearin it up, backed by Booker T and the MGs and most of that crowd acting like they're watching a soap commercial. WTAF?

We were numb. Dunn and Cropper were the core that hour. Bonamassa and Derrick Trucks had just finished and Trucks would accompany Hidalgo in the next set. Plus, that was around 2. It was nearly 100 in Chicago when we rolled in around 8:30 AM.

I remember watching this over and over again on the DVD I had as a kid! Stole so many of these licks as a teenager, great playing.

got here through David and Houndog -- thanks to college radio I picked up Houndog in 1999. Then the Dave Alvin video led me here tonight. I suppose it should not puzzle me that I'm the 13th commenter. This nation knows not the true treasure of American music.

Just discovered Los Lobos' rendition of The Beatles classic "Tomorrow Never Knows"...I was left totally dumbfounded by David's soaring sonic dive bombs on his fantastic solos..omg...better than Hendrix! Fan for life now!.😁😁😁😁
