Never in a million years did I think a Chinese woman would utterly destroy the poster child of gun control's entire argument with one question. How did he get out Merica'd by an immigrant.
This is how it went when the Chinese immigrant Lily Tang Williams stepped up to ask David Hogg a question from the audience:
“Hi, my name is Lily Tang Williams. Welcome to my ‘Live Free or Die’ state. Actually, I am a Chinese immigrant who survived communism. And under Mao, 40 million people were starving to death after he sold the communism to them. And 20 million people died, murdered during his cultural revolution.
So my question to you, David, is that can you guarantee me, a gun owner tonight, our government in the US, in DC, will never, never become a tyrannical government?

In January 1959, he said that the Cuban government will conduct a buy out of all rifles and pistols. No one responded, then he gave a grace period of 30 days to return every rifle and firearm to the police station or face criminal charges. Then he began confiscating personal businesses, my grandfather included, he lost his ranch that he had purchased in 1947. Right after he began incarcerating all the opposition including my father. Generally Cubans are loyal to freedom. We don’t vote Democrat for what Kennedy did to the Cuban exiles in Bay of Pigs, he betrayed the exile. I payed my dues to our society serving 20 years in the US Army and fighting in three tours of the Middle East, Two of them in Iraq.

Getting out-'Merica'd by an immigrant, is, in fact, a very 'Merican thing. My crew lead on an environmental job was a raging self-procliamed socialist and gun control advocate. The guy went as far as to say "the wild west should have had gun control" while he would fly into a hissy fit whenever he saw a cop, cops are evil and whatnot. He even listened to podcasts about the Colorado Coal Battles. I knew he was too far gone when I saw him reading Che Guevara's memoirs... made we wonder why he wanted gun control so badly

@@jason200912 Everyone. Lincoln said everyone was a victim in the war for reunification of America and to free the slaves. He walked Gettysburg and realized we were a broken and confused country as he saw the thousands of bodies of men and boys laying across the battlefield. The war was a massive grey area of different politics and Lincoln doubted many times that he was doing the right thing. Seeing so many bodies beyond traumatized him and left him with PTSD. In the end he and the newly formed Republican Party won the war made America whole again and worked on making sure equality was going the right way. It of course took a lot longer than what was needed. If the founders had their way they would've freed the slaves in 1776 like they wanted to. But 2 out of 13 colonies rejected the abolition of slaves, causing the founder the come up with a new draft of the constitution. Civil War isn't black and white like most people think it is. It was one of the darkest most divided times in US history.
