David Silva was one of the few players who never put in a less than 7/10 performance. Every single time he played he was class. My goodness that man was the definition of consistency.

The fact that someone like David Silva didn't get into the 11 in Spain just shows how insane Xavi and Iniesta.

You don’t know what you’re talking about because he played on the wing for Spain, and he has more goals and assists for Spain than both Xavi and Iniesta 👍

This isn’t talked about enough, but off the eye test there’s a very good case for David Silva to be the greatest midfielder in premier league history. He was one of the players who was very important in the rise of Manchester City and his role in their success domestically is unprecedented and was part of a dominant Spain team that won everything internationally from 2008-2012. He helped Manchester City win multiple trophies including 4 premier league titles, he’s probably their greatest player ever too. What he does in the midfield catches the eye and he’s one of the best players I’ve ever seen. In his peak, David Silva absolutely dominated the premier league for many years and he was elite as a midfielder. His dribbling playmaking control technique passing vision work rate etc, he was very good at getting out of tight spaces with his silky feet and his touch was always magical as he was able to create brilliant moments on the pitch and he passed the eye test with flying colors. That’s one of the things that made him special, he wasn’t always statistically dominant his influence in a game didn’t always reflect off the stat sheet, but when you watch him play purely off the eye test, his style of play contributed to winning football and was critical in the premier league titles Manchester City won and how successful the Spain national team was as well. I just hope he’s not a player who becomes forgotten about in the next couple of years because the streets will never forget prime David Silva.

David Silva is Cities best player of all time. And it's impressing when you have to rival KDB, Aguero and Yaya. All these players are right up there for the best players in the prem of all time. Rodri is reaching these levels now but David Silva will always be underrated, he was just the combination of extreme talent and hardwork. The bald Silva was the definition of perfection.

European football leagues must disclose salaries I don't understand why many football fans are against revealing players' contract salaries. I think player salaries are either too low or overrated. I think Haaland's annual salary is over $50 million. Honestly, there is no way the EPL salary would be that low. Does anyone know anything about Mbappe's contract? Why didn't you make it public in the first place? I don't know if it's after tax or before tax. The media always says different things. The same goes for the salaries of Griezmann and Suarez during their time in Barcelona. To begin with, La Liga is not sure whether some players' salaries are before or after tax. Always changing. First of all, the salaries of Messi and Ronaldo from 2011 to 2018 are estimated to be after-tax salaries.) And this is not accurate regarding Messi's contract. Laporta said Messi's salary must be paid until 2025. How much did he get paid? And many believe Mane's wages at Liverpool were £100,000 a week. First of all, Mane's agent said his salary is higher than reported in the media.American leagues disclose salaries. Messi's annual salary for 2023, as revealed by the MLS Players' Association, is $20 million. The base annual salary is $12 million. The media reports that it is over $50 million, but in reality it is much less than this. Conversely, if you look at the wage bill, EPL clubs spend more money than the media reports, with Manchester City spending more than 300 million pounds, and Liverpool and Chelsea spending more than 250 million pounds. (Please disclose player salaries, contracts, and salaries. And why are some people asking (there will be comments asking why I don't disclose my salary, but I'm an ordinary person. Are ordinary people and sports players the same? And there is FFP in European soccer) La Liga also has a salary cap. If I were a soccer player.I would agree to disclosure of my salary. i am asian. Why do people who are opposed to revealing player salaries say that some players have high or low salaries? Football's wage is It's an estimate and unofficial. . , commentators, coaches, and even other players in the league don't know a player's contract and salary...As a side note, Saudi money is exaggerated. A Saudi reporter said that Benzema's annual salary is $50 million. Jordan Henderson's weekly salary was also not what was reported in the media And...manchester City's charges are exaggerated. Not guilty without evidence Most of the 115 charges involved not cooperating and not providing data. To be honest, I think there are about 10 important things, and the FFP violation is not guilty, right? Most of the evidence is fabricated. The CAS award emphasized that most of the alleged breaches reported by the Adjudicatory Chamber of the CFCB were either not established or time-barred. As the charges with respect to any dishonest concealment of equity funding were clearly more significant violations than obstructing the CFCB's investigations, it was not appropriate to impose a ban on participating in UEFA's club competitions for MCFC's failure to cooperate with the CFCB's investigations alone. However, considering i) the financial resources of MCFC; ii) the importance of the cooperation of clubs in investigations conducted by the CFCB, because of its limited investigative means; and iii) MCFC's disregard of such principle and its obstruction of the investigations, the CAS Panel found that a significant fine should be imposed on MCFC and considered it appropriate to reduce UEFA's initial fine by 2/3, i.e. to the amount of EUR 10 million . City's 115 charges 54 charges on: Failure to provide accurate and up-to-date financial information from 2009/10 to and including 2017/18 . 14 charges on: Failure to provide accurate financial reports for player and manager compensation from 2009/10 to and including 2017/18. 5 charges on: Failure to comply with UEFA’s regulations, including UEFA’s Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations . 7 charges on: Breaches of Premier League profitability and sustainability regulations from 2015/16 to and including 2017/18 . 35: charges on: Failure to cooperate with Premier League investigations from December 2018 - present. in any case, most of the charges are unreasonable Man City is the world's No. 1 team, but they don't admit it, right?

Kalvin Phillips’ move to Manchester City just never made sense in the first place. When he joined, they were in need of a Fernandinho replacement and I thought for the team it made sense as it’s give Rodri some cover and backup, for his career it wasn’t a good move because he was never going to get a game especially since this guy is probably the best player in the world in his position right now. As a result of Rodri’s untouchable presence in the team, Kalvin Phillips didn’t get any game time and when Pep started to play with defenders in midfield, he still never fancied him. At Manchester City he was like that kid in a group project, getting all the credit without really doing anything at all as this guy won more trophies than Harry Kane without even kicking a ball as he has a treble to his CV. Just when you think that his nightmare at Manchester City was going to end, his loan spell at West Ham things have gotten worse for him and he finally lost his place in the England team. Remember for a while at Manchester City he wasn’t playing at all, yet Gareth Southgate continued calling him up to the national team and now he sees that he’s not good enough to represent his country. A Manchester City reject struggling on loan at West Ham, dropped from the England team, he’s in career crossroads and you don’t know what’s going on with him maybe he should return to Leeds United or go to Saudi Arabia to collect that oil money and chill in the Middle East learning a new language because my boy needs to pack his bags and go to Saudi Arabia.
