In this video I show you how to make a Gothic style gauntlet with simple, ordinary tools you likely already have in your garage. I walk you through all the steps to turn flat steel and brass into amazing armor.
Whether you are new to armoring and metalwork, or a seasoned pro, this gauntlet will be a lot of fun to build
You do not need to use metal. You can use cosplay foam, plastic, eva foam, fiberglass, pepakura, or any other material you desire. Be the star of comicon with your very own, very real armor. Be sure to check out my other videos to learn how to make all kinds of awesome armor.

@@DavidGuyton The joke is that it's not ordinary to have a jeweler's saw in your household. While yes, it is easy to be obtained and hobby handymen can have this at the ready, yadda yadda, others wouldn't have this in their home. Hell, the only hammer I have is the one to put nails in, yet I see so many different shapes of these hammers. You could say the title is a little misleading but hey, I'm sure some people don't mind the little stretch.

Im not gunna lie, i was very impressed with the fact i have multiples of every tool here. I mean, who doesnt have a few hammers, chisels and a pair of snips. The trailer ball anvil improvision. I was relieved there wasnt something complicated here. Its like 50 bucks in tools lol

Dude, you don't need smithing to make steel gloves, just do a bit of Recipe for Disaster and buy them. Also the highest smithing lvl steel equipment is platebody at 48 smith :D

Tools you already have or can get from Home Depot for a few dollars. The only thing outside of that is the dapping set which you can get on Amazon for $15. There is no forge, no foundry, no torches, no welding, no machinery, no presses....on other words....ordinary tools.

Pretty cool, I clicked thinking it was going to be one of those "tutorials" that isn't actually a tutorial but a master craftsman just making something that maybe other master craftsmen could replicate, but you do make it seem very doable. I think it would take me many tries to get results as good as yours, but still it is inspiring.

Nothing wrong with the heart design, as the original meaning of the symbol was one of bravery and courage. It's likely due to the stories of knights in shining armor, turning to love fairy tales that the heart in our day is seen as a symbol of love instead.
