Yep the Niners spread the ball around and they throw the fewest passes but the yards per attempt from Purdy and the YAC by the receivers is what makes this group so special. It will be great to keep them all together and I am excited about the addition of Ricky Pearsall. I am curious on any info on Jauan Jennings and Danny Grey.

DK Metcalf or St Brown? 9. Stefon Diggs or St. Brown? 10. Justin Jefferson or St.Brown? Odds are there is only a few of these receivers you might consider taking him over. Of those receivers ask yourself if they have a better or worst QB than Goff? Now what is Aiyuk actually worth my opinion is somewhere in the $20 million a year range with some good, guaranteed money. He's a vital and consistent piece of the 49ers offense but $30+ million is ridiculous if C-Mac is making half of that and so is Kittle. The 49ers can't jump of the bridge with Aiyuk just because the Lions did with St. Brown

I don't know a lot about numbers, and how the salary cap works. A large signing bonuses, and guarantee money is what players are looking for all they want is to feed there family. I all hope is they can re-sign Brandon Aiyuk, that's all I care about plus find a way to take care CMC.

Sorry you can’t pay two average WR over 50 MILLIOn in cap space and pay Purdy and keep some of the other players. One of BA or Debo is going to have to go. You also can’t keep building with free agents the 49ers have to do better in the draft.

I think Aiyuk is a great player and i'm glad to see videos of him working on his game to get better but paying him like he is someone that catches 6-8 balls a day for 100+ yds per game would be unwise. The 49ers are not a fling it around type team. If he really wants Amon-ra St. Brown type money I would make him play out this season and seek a trade next offseason so we don't lose him for nothing. Aiyuk may be the better over all player but the way our offense is, it doesn't justify overpaying him to keep him happy. We aren't paying based on attributes we are paying him based on production. A big time receiver does not get shutdown during the superbowl. If he had multiple seasons of 1200-1500+ yds then I could say yeah pay the man. Otherwise no.

I have been a 49er fan my whole life....I like team players....anyone who cares about money more than the superbowl, are the ones i DONT want on my team. I want aiyuk to be paid and happy, but if he isnt happy here, send him packing. Our team should be built on people who want to play not get paid.....i am getting angry that he isnt accepting a deal. Aiyuk may hold out and not play attend training camp or play pre-season games which will make him a non factor in first half of season, so I think that is something to be concerned about. Like Bosa and Deebo, he will be another over paid non-productive player

Lombardi you’re one of the smart ones (rare in journalism) but I 1,000% disagree with you. Aiyuk is not anywhere near the level of st brown. St brown is top 5 and aiyuk is closer to 15. And you can’t compare the stats of aiyuk when you say he’s got all the talent around him that keeps him from Getting the ball as much. The fact is, without all that talent to open the road for aiyuk, he’d be double or triple covered and his stats would be nowhere near what they were the last two years. (His best years) And the last two years of you took his stats he averaged about 1,100 yards. That’s not top 5 money. That’s top 20 maybe. Aiyuk belongs in the 12-15 range of pay which is exactly where he’s at compared to other nfl receivers. Hes good but he ain’t elite. He’s ain’t no lamb, Jefferson, st brown, kupp, chase, diggs, hill, Adams, nakua, brown and perhaps several others to debate. So why is he asking for or deserving of top 5 money??
