Getting the balls to do your first raley is tough. But hopefully these few tips help a little! haha

Thanks man great video tried it today for the first time 3 times and the wakeskate then 5 on the wakeboard and the 6 try was clean. Keep up the videos love how much fun you seem to have on the wakeboard.

I love coming back to your old vids Dave, I'm not really falling enough but I did try a scarecrow and landed a TS Mexican back roll (kicker) But now I'm going to use the parks wake skate to learn Raleys on thanks for the tip!! And remember to come to AUS (QLD) in the winter you will love it!!!

I would love to see what you can pull off a small boat with an outboard. Some of us don't have cash for nice wakeboard boats.

I would love to do it too!!! I first learnt on a 17foot outboard so I think I would be okay! Haha! Be good fun! Ps.. I would kill for a massive wake myself, but same thing! Just don't have the $$$$$ 😄

I have to say something to know I've watched this lol. This trick looks so easy when I watch the pros do it, I just answered my own question. Sounds like a trick I never want to do lol I don't want balls hahahah . Yeah do a day in the life of you so I can laugh hysterically!!!!! Another good one. Funny and I learned how to do a trick.....not sure i ever want to try it. I'm watching to train my little niece, this trick is a long way off for her.

if you do raley on cable - does the same tchnique applies (b/c you kinda put more weight on your back foot there)

How long would you suggest doing it with the wake skate? I did a few yesterday (first time ever) and it felt pretty good getting back to my feet and all… Is it substantially different once strapped in?

Bro, it's not that much different. If you can consistently get back on your feet with the wakeskate, then you're probably ready!!! YEOOWWWW!!

hey mate, to learn this trick for the first time, is it going to be significantly harder without a wake tower. my thought being that when you jump the rope pulls youn almost down? if that makes sense ahaha, anyway cheers for the vids!!

+Dale Thomas Hey Dale, How are ya?.. Okay, so there is rarely a time where I think the boat, the size of the wake, the tower etc... are an excuse, but honestly, I don't really recommend trying to learn this on a boat without a tower because as you say it will kind of pull you down. It's not impossible at all, but it will make it a bit harder, specially learning. Do you have a mate with a boat with a tower? Or is there a club or wake school near you that has one? It will make it way easier and less painful to learn it! hahah.

Try sticking kitesurfing straps on your board so if ya smash it the board rips off your feet and you dont stop dead. Defo had whiplash from this one in boots on a cable. Haha. Doing them on a kite is easier as if you go to crash you can cheat and fly the kite above you to soften the smash haha
