Things are starting to make more sense in terms of this pick and what McNair wants. He wants a defensive minded team because as talented as an offensive team the kings are, it’s a lot easier to play defense and offense when you’re not just trying to outscore everyone. That wasn’t the reason he’s fine going to his left. Teams were skeptical because of his age and I think that’s a dumb decision. He is the most nba ready player in this draft and he’s a two way player. He’s just old so they think he has a low ceiling. Not really a mistake because they have steph but I would say missed opportunity.

I don’t think we’re watching the same video my man. Sac got a steal and a dog who’s going to elevate the play of everyone around him.

Although a little perplexing because of fox (hali can play with either of them side by side so that's fine), mitchell was the best player remaining and its not even close. His defense, motor, and overall hunger for the gwme is what sac needed. He had superstar potential written all over him and will be a great backup pg this year. After this year it gets fuzzy since I dont know how fox and Mitchell will be long term... Mitchell is just too short to play anything other than pg. But overall this is a great pick and opens up some options going forward.

Also, consider just having a 3 guard rotation... two of hali, fox, and Mitchell are on the floor at ALL TIMES. Think about how crazy good that'll be. I see the kings making this work. Completely free to trade buddy too.
