Davos - you've probably heard of this small, beautiful town nestled in the Swiss Alps since it hosts the annual World Economic Forum. But Davos was already well known worldwide before international political leaders, economists and journalists started meeting here to discuss global issues.
Author Thomas Mann wrote about the famous "Schatzalp" hotel in his novel “The Magic Mountain”, and Artist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner brought expressionism to Davos.
