yo, spinning hard drives are an urban legend. nobody IRL would use such a slow piece of crap. the idea of a spinning hard drive was created by marketing execs in order to have something to compare SATA SSD's to, so they would appear to be faster. As someone who has computed since the early 90's I can confidently say that spinning hard drives never existed, and we always had SSDs. mechanical hard drives only existed in your mind, and not in reality. Even my first PC, which had a ginormous 128 MEGABYTE hard drive, used an m.2 NVME drive, and I will fight anyone to the death who tries to say differently. Also, we used fiber optic network cables to connect to Bulletin Board Services for all the latest Dr. Who rumors. And the 3.5 inch floppy disk drives were for aesthetic purposes only. they looked cute. 1.44 megs of data? come on, you're falling for it, not me. we used incredibly slow and expensive Zip drives for REAL POWER. goddamn were those things slow.

Well, people will be disappointed. Modern OSs (i.e. from the time of Windows 95) tend to push some processes in background when not interacting with the user. This means they free up memory by offloading to page file (in this case fast SSD) and basically minimize processes like anti-viruses. In practice, CPU would run at 100% all the time, but bloatware would not get more than 50% of that processing power.

I was asked to look at and upgrade my wife's old work PC, she worked for a small business and having me do it for fun and the business paying for parts was something I was looking forward to. Got to the HP AIO that was running an old i3, did a quick sanity check turns out the old dual core was being over taxed by just THREE antivirus softwares. I removed 2 or the AVs blew dust out of the fan and magically everyone stopped complaining about that PC. Having all that on a 6 core PC probably isn't going to affect it that much, but a dual core with hyper threading would have killed it's self by the time you got to the 2nd antivirus:D

I'm pretty sure it's because of windows 11 new task scheduler. Also the fact that it's 12 series CPU the task scheduler can throw these tasks on the E cores, and game on the P cores. In my opinion Windows 10 would have been worse.

Multiple AV's fight each other all the time. Honestly the built in windows AV in 10 and 11 are fine for pretty much all home users. Enterprise customers use different ones with better centralized management and control.

I learned a lot with my last PC build. Prior to this build I had zero RGB in my system so I had no prior experience RGB'ifying a pc. I didn't give much thought to keeping my devices to one or two ecosystems. I ended up with NZXT (AIO), Asus (Mainboard), Corsair (RGB RAM), and Gigabyte (Graphics Card) for the hardware forcing me to download all their bloatware. Luckily my Antec fans are just 3pin ARGB type. Although I was able to find a rather light program called Signal RGB (free) that controls all my junk except the Kraken AIO. Next time I will probably stick to hardware that lists compatibility with whatever motherboard I choose (most likely Asus).

Im only using 3 RBG bloatwares atm. Ique, CAM and Logitech G hub. they dont seem to effect alot in day to day use. But whem im running tests like Cinebench they do. So when running tests i usualy disable everything else but CAM since that controlls my AIO.

Would love to see a video where you try to uninstall (using Windows uninstall) all of the bloatware that you installed and see how the system performs compared to a virgin install of Windows. As that is what many people do especially with the preinstalled [anti]virus.

Back in the XP days software kept adding tool bars to browsers because they were included in installations of other software even though they had nothing to do with the software you were installing. People would end up with tool bars covering half the screen. Not sure why that trend ended but I wouldn't be surprised if laws were made to stop it.
