I think the player aid is perfect. Going to get mine laminated. The game itself is amazing. Very challenging. Very rewarding. Very cool story, art, and minis. Mechanics are exciting and tests are enough luck to be fun and enough skill to be worked. Great balance. I sound like a salesman but for real this game is soooo worth the wait. Been playing the last couple weeks non stop.

Actually late pledged after hearing that the story is well-written and there's a Story Mode included to keep the mechanical crunch from intruding upon the narrative immersion too much. I like my games challenging, I don't need them to literally kill my imagination with grind endless strategizing - that would be true horror for me ;-)

I was told my shipment was being handled by the chinese warehouse. Not sure why its all the way over there when they sent ships to both sides of the US.

I love that you can see the continuing corruption of what were once wanderers themselves in the monsters provided in the game. You can actually line up the abominations and terrors to see their progression just like you did with the wanderers and try to figure out what drove their transformations. Cant wait to get this to the table.

Unfortunate that it took so long but I certainly can’t complain about the quality. Looking forward to painting and playing this one.

While the packing wasn't great and I have seen better card quality I was very pleased with what I received, especially after wondering at one point if I had thrown my money away. I look forward to diving into the game.

The problem is with the dark art. I have no idea how to paint these. What colors to use ect. I hope someone paints these and puts up pictures that I can use for examples.

It was worth the wait for me. I’m quite enjoying it. Finished the first scenario and immediately wanted to play another. I enjoy the mechanics and the story and writing are probably the most enjoyable I’ve experienced in a board game - it’s what keeps me wanting more. The long scenario play time and game play won’t be for everyone, but the kind thing I enjoy.

The style is very close to Deep Madness which also has amazing but gross art :D In comparison KDM looks really family friendly :P This feels so much like a solo game I am a bit worried. Deep Madness plays really well at 3 even if a bit long. Not sure how you tackle a story of Dawn with 3 players. Will know soonish hopefully when I get my copy. Glad they added the Story mode. This is horror of the finest, gorey and splattery type and think it would make for a splendid Halloween session ^^ Been watching some of "The Story of Twins" over at Meet Me at the Table and wow is it well written too.

What I wish is that they would have added the name of the monsters on the tokens. The amount of time I spend trying to find the small correct turn tokens for the monsters by matching the art and some do really look similar is annoying. That being said, the game itself is (after all this time) surprisingly excellent.

As far as the baggies for cards, I have my own baggies as well and it’s actually nice bagging up each abomination separately. All fits in that box just fine. I ended up putting the wanderers cards and tokens in their actual boxes.

So jealous :p when they reported middle of may that all EU deliveries would be done end of may i thought it a safe bet to go for a game day on 22nd of june with some friends with this in mind. Now we are a little more than a week from it and nothing seems to be moving in eu :p

My miniature tray was destroyed in box and I saw on Facebook it was a common problem but everything else was great condition

No, I've always found the way you open boxes to be weird and scary (to me), but never seen you damage them doing it.

I'm happy to see the game component-wise is relatively high quality. Gives me a little more confidence in Diemension Games. I really want to trust they'll do a good job with Celestial, but imo the delays for this game are really hindering my expectations

All the progressive malformations are significantly impressive. My least favorite (which is still great) is the priest though, as the motion of his action pose is abruptly suspended by the wooden planks. I've never been fond of specific scenery *moving* alongside miniatures, unless it's as ubiquitous as dirt, cobblestones, etc.
