@@DoremiFasolatido1979 Actually, the preorder is the exact same price as it will be on release, and as much as EW costs right now. Currently the complete edition is 40 euro, but includes 30 days of game time, while the preorder is 35 euro and will most likely not include any playtime with it.

@@DoremiFasolatido1979 I don't get what the scam is? At least not in context to the first comment which talks about the pre-order item. As @miweneia said, regardless if you preorder or not the game will cost the same. Sure one might say that trying to entice you to pre-order with limited time items is a scam, but in this case a lot of us are avid xiv players that have put a lot of time into the game already and will be playing it at release regardless so I really don't see the issue in this very specific case. If on the other hand we are talking about the items that comes with the digital collector's edition then yeah that is an outrageus price for 1 mount, 1 minion and 1 glam weapon. But people with money to spend will absolutely go for it regardless. And of course the physical collector's edition is even more outrageous.

This video helped me so much I got the starter edition and pre order dawntrail and was so confused that the shadowbringers wasn't showing up its good to know that I got wait till it released in July

I wanted to put this information out here for anyone that may find it useful. If you are an existing player attempting to start playing on a new platform(PS5 to PC or reversed as an example) and you plan to play during early access. Buying the starter edition and then attempting to buy Dawntrail (which includes shadowbringers and endwalker) to complete your collection of expansions. You will not have access to shadowbringers or endwalker content until the first day of official launch July 2nd. This means that attempting to play on early access will be a mess. The official response given to me by a square enix customer support person was to purchase the complete edition on my new platform and then in addition to that also purchase Dawntrail to ensure I have access to everything during early access. This is significatly more expensive but it will ensure you have access to everything already existing on your account from your other platform.

Hey I have a question this is my first time buying a pre order. Lets say I already bought the pre-order of dawntrail this month, do I have to pay again for a monthly subs on the day of the release of early access? Second question if I already bought the pre-order of dawntrail this month and I didn't pay for subs this month, will I be able to get in the game this month?

Hello there, in my case I already finished shadow bringer, but i really want to resub to play Endwalker and Dawn Trail. Should I just preorder Dawn Trail now to get both expansions?

Can someone help me? I have Endwalker for windows and i am caught up in the story. Now i want to buy early access for Dawntrail, but for PS5. Will i get to play on the 28th June if i buy the starter edition + Dawntrail pre order?

Thanks for this explanation. I was really excited about this since passing the xbox beta and jumped into the free starter pack only to realize it moved my free trial to a paid sub. Oh well it is a great game but I wish that would have been clearer, I have been powering through MSQ lv 35 atm but almost 60 on my job and hoped I could get current by the early access but is that realistic? Maybe I should not worry about getting access to endwalker before release since I might not even be to that point

It isn't just the player level getting max but you also need to have current on the MSQ and if you're on ARR that is... a whole lot of game to go through in a couple of months. My best advice is to pace yourself because it's almost impossible not to burn yourself out. If you start to get bored of MSQ pick a random piece of content you're interested in, maybe listen to some bards play some tunes, or mess around in the golden saucer. It is very much about the journey and not the destination. Or you can get a story skip if it's about the destination and not the journey ;) With all the expansions combined there is over 100 hours of just cut scenes. Sorry for the wall of text, it's just such a unique game/experience from others that I have played I think it's hard to really understand the scope of it.

thanks!! god its so confusing.... bought final fantasy twice on steam, and idek what version. Suddenly after a year those expansions turned free. But i looked at my service account status and it does say i got endwalker

Great video but there is one wrong info u said and that is if u pre order passed the 28 u have to wait for the expansion actual launch when it not true, I remember I pre ordered endwalker late it was during the first day of early access and yet when I pre ordered it I still got access to early access

No :) You PREordered the game, yes? If you have, then the expansion starts on June 28th :) For everybody else, yes, its July 2nd. Also, if you preordered, you get a game code send via mail. You have to register that code on your account page (Meoni has a useful guide) and shortly after that, you get the Azeyma earrings and that monkey minion.

yeah dont try to power grind msq theres no way in hell you will still make it till dawntrail i power grinded msq from arr till post shadowbringers 6-8 hours a day and it still took me over 2 months to reach endwalker back then on release, enjoy the journey

First I wanted the whole box and everything... but I dont know FF9, so the mount was a total downturn for me... Also, I got the EW box and the paladin statue right next to me... and I dont have space for another one... The only things I really would've wanted from the box are the pen case and the journal... and that cloth thingy. Other than that... nah... I settled for the normal pre-order and enjoy my new earrings: increased XP gain AND looking gorgeous ^.^

I think video was released before the 60% discount thats why he said 40$. So you will save only 18€ ~20$ (price of Endwalker if you buy it now with discount).

eu store and na store hold sales on complete edition and complete collector's edition and endwalker at the moment, with endwalker included in the two complete editions. you might be tempted to upgrade from free trial now and pre order dawntrail on top.because free trial plus dawntrail pre order is nonsense.

Yes, as long as you don’t wanna play end walker now, you can pre-order and get both, or you can buy endwalker by itself, and then pre-order

I dunno why they bother with early access, the servers ar going to be full anyway so its a total waste of money unless your super sweaty and dont mind waiting hours in a queue (oceanic data centre excluded)
