Day 1: Seattle - CitizenM Pioneer Square, Pike Place Market & Exploring Fremont!

As I mentioned in the video, the rooms are a pod style format so they are smaller in size. The price was on the mid-lower end for a large city. In this vlog, I explored Pike Place Market, Fremont area and tried the famous Seattle dog! Personally, I would say Pike Place Market, Fremont Troll and Gasworks Park are must-do attractions for your trip to Seattle.

How safe was it for the citizen M hotel in downtown Seattle and it’s surround area ? I am interested in booking hotel there and walk over to pike place, china town, and other nearby tourist place. Would love to hear your thoughts!

I do think it is safe but there are a lot of homeless in Seattle. I say that coming from NY where there is homelessness as well but I would say it’s different there. Overall, I felt very safe at CitizenM hotel and never had any safety issues at the hotel. There is always a hotel employee in the lobby and security was in place. Walking is a bit difficult because of the hills (walks turn into mini hikes). I ended using Lyft or taking public transportation which was pretty easy to use. Highly recommend a trip to Seattle. I personally loved my time there and the food scene was amazing.
