This Day 10 Sun Salutation sequence is great if you are on the go and should feel awesome after 9 days of an amazing 30 Day Yoga journey! Use this practice to work on synchronizing the movement with the breath. Increase strength and flexibility as you welcome warmth to the body. Sun Salutations warm up the body and can refresh us in so many ways. Great for the nervous system! Great for the immune system! Great for depression! Make adjustments as needed and listen to your body!

I am a large hairy kinda man. My doctor suggested i try yoga. Since i dont look good in yoga pants i do it at home. Both my knees and elbows are damaged from work and a lifetime of heavy lifting and bodybuilding plus having stress and anxiety from daily life. I scoffed at yoga. I made fun of it. After day ten I havent felt this good, or limber or mobile in 15 years. Thank you Adriene for saving my life and making me smile while doing it.

when I go from cobra to down dog it always hurts my lower back. Any tips?

I always find it helps to go really slow and gradual from one to the other, and I think about cobra to down dog like a cat-cow, like I'm opening my shoulders and rounding as I get into downward-facing dog. Also for me cobra and up dog feel better if I focus on opening my chest, trying not to bend/crunch my lower back so much, if that makes sense. My lower back is always a place that gives me trouble--I hope you figure out the best way for you!

This was my favorite day so far, I feel like I'm turning into a real Yogi! I was able to follow along and not keep looking at the screen all the while knowing what each pose was just by the name. My balance is getting better and this felt so easy and smooth. I was sooooo not in the mood to practice today but this made me feel wonderful. Day 10 down!

I have the opposite problem with the "deep breaths". But when she goes "inhale and do move x and exhale on move y" after 3 movements I'm always breathing the wrong way

I’ve started to notice that I follow your voice without looking at the screen. I’m always obsessive with making everything correctly but during yoga practices with you I’m more concentrated on my feelings than on checking body shape and precise technique. Thank you❤️

I just did this practise and when standing at the end, feeling the beat of my heart and listening to my breath, I felt overwhelmed with peace and clarity and almost cried. I have a lot of changes coming up in my life that are making me very scared and stressed out but yoga grounds me and reminds me that change is good and positive. Thank you so much for this video :)

Thank you for making me feel better. We’re back on lockdown in the UK and I was feeling sorry for myself. It’s dark, cold, miserable, late at night of yet another day not being able to see my loved ones. But this quick video got the blood flowing and fresh oxygen into me, and now I can look at everything in a better light. This is the power of yoga, not the toning of the body (although that is useful 😂). To everyone out there struggling, we’re all in this together. Namaste friends 🙏🏻

I postponed today's yoga practice as much as I can. It was 1 am when I finally started to do it. I am surprising myself that I am dedicated so far, it must be the positive community at the comments and Adriene's affords to make us love yoga. I never seen a community this positive and supportive anywhere.

Can't believe I am finally on day 10! I have never been able to stick to any practice for this long. Today's practice has been especially my favourite because I was able to find flow here and match my breath to the poses. Thank you Adrienne ❤

I don't usually comment on things. But this day was the first day I almost cried. I felt so powerful, peaceful and loved. My movements are becoming so fluid and my body is reacting to the new love and support I'm giving it. Thank you so much for these videos!

I love how even though sometimes i wake up not feeling like doing yoga (or anything at all) I make myself do it, and every time I finish a video my mood and body feels 10 times better (even if i almost died like on day 7 lol). Yoga has that much power, Adriene has that much power ❤️️

I just wanted to say that I'm so glad I found Adrienne! I'm a very inflexible rock climber. I've completed the full 30 days of yoga (in 25 days, some days I did more than one session), and then instantly started the Revolution 31 days. After day 2 of Revolution this morning, I've come back to redo this video (this is my third time) and I now absolutely love Sun Salutations! Whilst my feet are not yet touching the floor in downward dog, they are closer and I'm in no real rush. I can now remember enough poses to do a short freestyle sequence on my own too and I'm hoping after the next 31 day series I'll have more poses ingrained to do my own yoga routines forevermore. Thank you so so much for such brilliant videos!

these were the only 12 minutes and 39 seconds today that I felt like a human being, alive, and worthy of the space I take up. I have been in a dark place for a long time, and now it’s getting even worse, but I am happy that at least during the yoga sessions I know I can have a good time without having to be good at it or actually in other way that how I am in the moment. This is not life changing or life saving, but having 10 minutes of feeling present and all sorts of good things when the rest of the day all you wanna do is dig a hole in the ground and stay there means a lot to me. Thanks Adrienne for helping me get space with myself and my good parts, away from all the darkness, hopelessness, shame, fears and regrets. These are very very precious 10 minutes.

This was the first ever YWA video I did, back in 2016. I had never heard of the channel, I knew nothing about yoga other than that "sun salutations" was a thing some people did daily, and I wanted to try that. When I began typing into the search box, "yoga with Adriene" was the top suggested auto-complete, and so when this video came up again in the results, I decided to try it. Afterwards I of course had to look up your video on Ujayi breath! I practiced the sun salutation with you for many days, then I found the runners warm up/cool down videos, and finally this 30 day journey as well as Yoga Camp. I've been following the channel ever since. After Breath this year, I decided I would re-do all of the 30 day journeys from the years, in order, as some of them have all blurred together in my memory. Here I am on day 10, back where it all started. Thank you for doing what you do. I recommend your channel to people all the time. It's obvious from the comments that you are changing lives - you've definitely changed mine. Namaste 🙏

Great place to come to get through quarantine! Lockdown bedroom carb burn. Thank you Adrienne..Young men locked down - I know are doing Adrienne at home via zoom - one follows A and the rest follow the leader - Globally linking from Australia to Dubai to Jordan to Palestine to UK to Bulgaria to Berlin to Israel - they are finding a way to do yoga sadhana in a sangha. a year after my original comment and this is still a great flow. It's funny how you often forget the repeated sun salutations can make you feel alive [read: out of breath/warm] on a cold day! I find comfort in the vinyasa and I'm finding ease where I used to find resistance. Downward dog is MORE restful but not so much that I can stay for too long. A short visit is enough for now, though!

Being able to get to day 10 is very unusual for me. I usually quit after day 2 or 3. I am very grateful for this. Plus, I love reading the comments after I finish the video. I feel like discussing today's session with my friends :)

This is probably my favorite video of Adriene's I've done so far...At least in that I come back to it and repeat it often. It's short and sweet, and I never fail to feel better leaving the mat after this one! My favorite thing is I really feel connected to my breath. With the poses themselves being rather repetitive, it lets me focus on my breath and other things, rather than just on what I need to do next. Thank you, Adriene! I'll be back again, I'm sure.

Very refreshing! I noticed today how even changing positions from downward facing dog to lunge is smoother and stronger. I really like that the increase of strength is gradual and comes from ease and flow rather than forcing into position.

Wow can’t believe I’ve done 10 days!! This was my favourite so far, short but powerful!!! I did it at 4pm as the sunset and basked in the sun after. I still have so much to get done today so it’s energised me to finish my tasks!!! Will be coming back to this one (and day 8) after my 30 days!!

Adriene is a fantastic yoga instructor. I've never done yoga more than 2 days in a row but she is so motivating and very down to earth...love the little jokes mixed in with her instructions, it keeps me going :)

About 3 weeks into this -and I've taken to doing Sun Salutations most mornings for 45 minutes -and I noticed that I am not taking as much of my asthma medication as I typically do. I use an inhaler 2x a day: morning and evening. I have found that rolling out of bed and doing my 45 minutes of yoga takes me right past that need for my Symbicort. I still take it at night, but on the occasion that I've forgotten it I haven't suffered! So of course I went into the scientific literature to try to find some basis for this observation and wouldn't you know it; yoga improves asthma symptoms! So thank you, Adriene!

Adriene’s instructions are easy to follow, and an excellent way to stay active during the coronavirus has us confined to our homes. It helps having previous yoga classes. I will continue with Adrienne’s classes one we receive our vaccine.

This was definitely my favourite day so far! Today, about half way through the practice, I was finally able to move from upward facing dog to downward facing dog without using my knees!! Before I would put my knees to the ground and then got into downward facing dog but not today!! That was such an amazing feeling! I'm so proud of myself for coming this far!

i didnt even expect to make it past day 2, it was the hardest so far. however, i kept going and ive already reached day 10 and tomorrow will be day 11. thank you so much adriene! i feel so much better about myself and im starting to feel really good!

I am trying to stay committed to 30 days of yoga, but I find it hard to commit to it..I think it is because showing up for myself has never been a priority. Thank you Adriene.

Wow, I just actually enjoyed salute to the sun - that was first. I really want to thank you for this series. I have practised yoga in the past but not for some years.. This is such a lovely way to get back into it and I can already feel the benefits to my nearly seventy year old body. Thank you

Day 10! We made it! I’ve tried multiple 30 day yoga challenges and I’ve never made it past day two. My heels almost touch the ground in downward dog. Sometimes I feel disheartened with my body during the videos, but I keep doing it anyway, because I know it’s building my strength (physical and mental❤️)

Anyone else noticing progress in unexpected places? My down dogs are still a pain but I used to be unable to sit cross-legged without serious discomfort and today suddenly it was quite comfy. Yay for small wins!

I've just completed day 10 after a very stressful day. All that pent up stress has just released itself in big fat teardrops as they rolled down my cheeks in relief as my body and mind relaxed into the end of the sun salutation sequence. Bliss. The sun salutation is a firm fave! Still not great at resting in down dog but the flow of the vinyasa is so soothing!

THANK YOU for the simplicity of your teaching! Been doing yoga off and on for 40 years and have watched the practice become mainstream and as it has more and more "gimmicks" have been added to make it entertaining and contemporary. I deeply appreciate your focus on the breath, the silence (no music to distract the mind), the direction that is specific (rather than lots of multiple choice that requires decision making), the extended holds and spaciousness. All so say, less is more in my opinion and less is hard to find. Add to that a certain tenderness you bring. Wonderful teaching. Thanks for contributing to Life.

Oh my gawwwwwd, I love your yoga. I am practicing the power of now - Eckhart Tolle. Breathing is the fastest way to go into the body. When I do your yoga every morning, it not only helps my sore body but helps my presence! I am a calmer, more patient and happy mama. Thanks for all you do!!
