Today I was trying to edit a Q&A vid for u guys but i was like lawd look at my dark circles so I really did not feel like pushing myself to play chess today
here is a game from day 124 instead, hope that carries u over to the next day
this was fun, 1700 vs 1900 elo chess, even if the 1900 was prob tilted!

only logic i see behind sacrificing the first knight it to expose your king a bit more in hopes you make a fatal mistake and he gets more counterplay than what he had. So he probably saw the knight as an useless piece since previously it wasn't doing much, but that doesn't justify sacrificing a whole piece, other than that idk what was going inside their mind

You're making a big mistake by letting your opponents transition from a Pirc to a King's Indian. The difference between the two is not based on what black does but what white does. If you push the c pawn to c4 then it's a King's Indian, which is considered a much better opening for black than the Pirc. You had a game previously where you did this and got crushed by the kingside pawns Here it's especially bad because you're wasting tempi pushing the C pawn twice, and you're not playing a testing setup against the KID, and just get bulldozed on the kingside As a rule of thumb, if the opponent plays d6 e5 you're almost never supposed to take the pawn or push (think Philidor). That's also the entire point of playing c3 btw. The bishop on g7 (Pirc/Modern) exerts more pressure on the pawn compared to a bishop on e7 (Philidor) so you play c3 to reinforce. I'm only on minute 6 so let's see how this turns out, but you seemed really discouraged after getting smothered mated last time so thought I'd share

@@BelisaChess I don't face the pirc often so don't have a specific setup against it. I try to go for Bc4 Qe2 e5 if they play the modern. Against Pirc I just try not to get center fork tricked and usually push the kingside pawns
