Those aztekium are most probably poached, but with a plenty amount of time in the greenhouse thats why they look clean and plump.

That’s so impressed.I want asking about that the ariocarpus keep short rootstock still?
@ChatoPenacho7 ай бұрын
many of those plants had been taken from its habitat 💀
@sipoone7 ай бұрын

Does he have website for purchase some of his cacti?

gotta be some secret sauce to cook them green n fat, especially there is some pink-ish color in the corner of those thick tubercles,- looking like grafted water and soil-mix dont have that "steroid" affect

Son plantas saqueadas.

every single one of these cacti are grafted and overfed, that's why they are so huge. ariocarpus doesn't grow like this. althought i appreciate the insane dedication to grow them in such shape, personally i wouldn't pay a single dollar for these because they just look bloated and unnatural. - screw what i said about ariocarpus, literally everything here is grafted from lophi, to the strombi, aztekium, aboslute everything.
@Theoasisgardens4 ай бұрын
Quite the opposite he doesnt own that many grafted plants even though it would speed up his process. And lophs would be splitting if they were overfed
@dutchvonderlinde16934 ай бұрын
1'000'000% grafted and pumped with nutrition. Been growing mexican cacti for almost 2 decades and this is how natural & rootgrown cacti exactly DON'T look like. Seen cacti like these over and over again. Lophs and arios in the Netherlands look just as unnatural.

Have you ever been to Thailand? Have you ever seen how everything grows because of the climate and the care they give the plants? You seem to now know what you're talking about.
@dutchvonderlinde16932 ай бұрын
@@joelaca3379 YES, i have been. many many many times since the mid 90s, that's why i can say what I say with eas. i don't care what these growers tell you, you can lift up ever single one of those head-big ariocarpus and there won't be a giagntic taproot or anything underneath it, because they are all grafted or de-grafted / re-rooted plants. and the fact these plants look like this in collections, isn't because these breeders are geniuses, it's because in nature cacti grow under severe and harsh conditions. cacti that are decades old had to go through years with next to no water. - in the collections all conditions are ideal and perfect constantly and they get an insane amount of nutrition, which in nature they would never get. all these thai cacti are overfeed and overpumped plants. not saying it's bad, just saying what it is. there is really nothing to argue about here lol.
