I love road trips, because my husband prefers to drive, which gives me knitting and crochet time! (and it gives me the chance to sight-see and take pics when we are going through new places)

Fun facts with Kent should be a new segment of the podcasts- I can picture the fun logo spinning across the screen in post-edit now. LOL. Glad toaster is coming along and gets to see another grandma and get tons of treats this holiday.

Bring enough stitch markers to separate the lace repeats on your Boxy. It helped tremendously!! Merry Christmas!

I have never had a desire to learn to crochet (I’m a knitter) but that granny blanket might make me change my mind 😂 It’s so beautiful ❤

I just finished the Lace & Fade Boxy, and I knit all but the sleeves on a cross-country road trip. I second the comment about the stitch markers for the lace repeats… and I ended up just leaving them in for the plain sections instead of taking them on and off (especially in the car!) blocking it also changed the fit from shapeless and blah to really drapey and soft, just FYI. Can’t wait to see your version!

Enjoy all that knitting time in the car! Growing up my dad drove everywhere and I was so looking forward to not having to drive long distances, but my boyfriend also hates driving. Rude.
