If someone wants to prepare a good program for sale, and someone else is willing to pay for it - I respect the hustle. Win win. Coaches gotta eat too! Haha. Nice progress bro! Lookin yuuuugeeee

Appreciate that and yeah never any shame on it whatsoever especially if people are down to buy it. Just wish there was more reliable stuff for people to use online without having to put down money for it since most people do these sports for fun and not monetary investment.

Most paid programs are just regurgitated programs found on forums from 10 years ago. Every youtube "guru" is a money grubber nowadays when actual reputable coaches like Glenn Pendlay, John Broz and Kyle Pierce were giving out free advice! It's sad.

Yeah I’m all about people specifically writing programs for people based on their own individual experience but I don’t like that people will try to give newcomers a program that was specifically written for an experienced athlete

Youve increased you ankle mobility. How?
@ChikinJake
@ChikinJake Ай бұрын
Part of it was training the mobility of my ankle Dorsi flexion which of you go on KZfaq you can find thousands of stretches to do to get more comfortable. There’s also a limit to how mobile every individual person can be and since I have longer femurs, I put more focus on training my high bar squat and opening my groin and hip muscles more to make up for my limitations.

I completely understand the sentiment, and I did want to make more knowledge and tools accessible, but at the same time, its sooo much work. Its crazy. Thousands and thousands of pages of scientific literature, and other hundreds and hundreds of hours of coding to make it easy to digest or simply use... And then you get pretty much nothing in return. Its a very hard job.

Yeah this is just an ideal that’s not super realistic if it’s what you want to make you money. Since weightlifting isn’t my job it’s a bit easier for me to say that I wouldn’t charge people for the work I put into my program. Also to be specific I’m just talking about programs people make for themselves and then resell to the public without personalized training to each specific person. If you write a program for someone’s specific needs, I view that as coaching when it comes to the job itself. This is also just what I would do. No shame or wrongdoing at all if people want to sell their programs. I just think more people would be open to pursuing these sports as passions if they can see what other people have done before them and money can be a big deterrent for something most people just wanna do for fun.

@@ChikinJake I completely agree. And when people make a subscription based app for "only a dollar a day"… that shit makes my blood boil.

Lmao. Writing a program takes zero work. Many programs from big names are just cookie cutter templates that they wrote in a half hour - in their own words.
