samdo used to be a small setttlement nowdays due to growing tourists this village is growing.thnks for the upload

Can image that, I took a walk Around the original village behind and it looked like it was very small at one time, thanks for sharing its really good to learn

@@lauragriffithsoutdoors did you know that there was heavy rainfall during first week of ctober which caused many landslides on the route and also heavy snowfall in the larkey pass due to bad weather many hikers returned from the samagaun as well one guide was caught in avalanche at larkey pass and he died.

Well hear we go again another amazing beautiful walk. Laura TIP for you, if you do go up to Scotland in winter be ready for the unexpected. I spent 6 days Snowed in and unable to move, and 24-hours eraler it was just cold no snow whatsoever. Then during the night got about 5 ft of the white stuff.

Oh my gosh that’s wild, I have friend who lives in north wales and that happened to her, I can’t imagine being stimuli for long! I hope you had everything you needed at the time

Thank you for posting this, I really enjoyed watching the whole journey! Well done for keeping happy during the delays at Kathmandu, it can be really hit and miss heading up to Lukla. Generally I’ve been lucky on the way up but coming back can be a bit of a pain although it’s probably better to be waiting in Lukla to come down then Kathmandu to go up. I hope you get to do EBC, it is definitely worth the effort and a different kind of trek to the one you just did, the accommodation is amazing and the sense of journey is something else. Good luck when you go there! 🙏

Hi thanks for the comment Peter, we’re planning to head back in a years time, our guide Ram said the weather is very stable around Jan/ Fab because it’s just freezing and the flights should be ok. I feel kinda lucky we got to do Manaslu because we didn’t even know about it and is quite different
