@@keithburris8470 I feel really comfortable saying that the opinion that we should not criticize and browbeat young women who are publishing their own content for free is the only correct opinion. It’s ok that you don’t like the music, but you shouldn’t shame or belittle what was either a mistake or an artistic choice. You are not paying for these videos, nor are you forced to watch.

Everyone is a critic and you know what they say about opinions. This is your hike and your video documentary of your journey. I for one appreciate you sharing it with those of us that aren't at a time in our lives to follow your path. Keep doing what you are doing!!

So glad you got to stay at Mountain Home. Scott and Lisa are the best and the house is incredible. I zeroed there and read Grandma Gateway’s book while I was there. Great place to relax.

Weird critiques about the music background. I don't mind the music at all. Hike Your Own Hike/Make Your Own Videos. You are doing something that I'm not able to do anymore, so I'm enjoying being able to come along for the ride (and I always like listening to music when I'm traveling 😁) Thanks for taking me along...

23-1/2 miles Woohoo! The Jim and Molly Denton shelter did seem like a castle compared to others I’m sure. I loved the solar powered shower. Quite a luxury for a thru hiker.

I crossed paths with a bear a few years ago in the area just south of Rod Hollow Shelter. I heard it, then saw it, crashing through the undergrowth about 30 yards to the right of the path, heading in the opposite direction. I was heading Nobo, and it was Sobo, so I figured it went around me off the trail to avoid me. Looking forward to the next episode to see how the Roller Coaster went.

Please opt to not hike during the afternoons this week. Heat exhaustion is real regardless of age or fitness level. Maybe try night hiking for a change.

I think it was an accident because it ran over the intro music as well. My guess is she accidentally added it to the whole video instead of just clipping it to the end. Probably from editing in a loud area.

Molly, please don’t take this wrong like so many people did. I love your videos and your hike. Just don’t let something like background music take away from it. You don’t need music to be great.
