I'm in NE not sure how many days behind you are uploading but it looks like this week last in July/first in August is going to be cooler.

Do you think your appetite will decrease once you are off the trail and how long before you are able to get your appetite in control? How much weight have you lost so far?

Good video with some nice views, so let's keep on hiking 😊

I have to hand it to you for persevering through the heat. Between you and a couple other through-hikers I'm following, I think doing a flip-flop and taking a break in July-August sounds like my plan if I do the AT.

I wish I had known you were the Storyville Deli. I would have paid for your food. I live down the road.

It is currently 54° at the summit of Mt. Washington. Cooler temps are coming! Higher elevations of New Hampshire await. Rooting for you and Ziggy every step.

So glad you got to meet Heather and Chuck, I have been following them the whole time on the AT and the way some of your videos I had a feeling you guys might cross paths they're a nice couple to watch and you and Ziggy as well.

You’ll soon find easier weather again, even though it’s much more difficult in the heat you’re doing fine, keep hiking❤

Cheers to a plan B to adapt to the heat. Good thinking. Kudos to your success of the day. Thanks for your update, determination and fortitude. Much appreciated. Wishing you success, safe passage, and mighty fine hiking. Happy Trails!

This is the normal for July in that area. Why not start the hike much earlier in the year if you can't cope with heat and humidity?

Don’t quit Molly!! You will get cooler weather soon! We are all rooting for you!

You have a large group of people rooting for you every step of the way. Nothing wrong with taking a few extra breaks. Cooler weather awaits you.

I live in New England and this heat and humidity sucks the life out of you.
@jeannenimmo5Күн бұрын
Hope the heat and humidity moderate. If you take enough ZEROs, the weather will surely cool down - lol. The little slack-pack-flip-flop is a good idea - there's a bit of a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow(A/C, a real bed and food for a second night). Be well, stay safe. 🥾

Starting the AT when you did were you not anticipating hot weather?

Y’all are doing good. Just don’t run over Ziggy on the trail cause he is carrying a few more years than you.😁 Glad you reunited with other hikers. Be safe!!

Funny just a 118 days go you where blistering cold 🥶 and now your burning up. Think back to tho times when you where freezing 🥶 that should work 😅. Keep up the good work. Mighty fine hikeing 🤩

sorry about the heat, humidity and bugs but I'm glad you didnt rush through my beautiful home state....no mystery why I moved to Oregon...P.S don't tell anyone about our great dry summers...lol...keep on keeping on...I'm sure already in VT or NH by now...its gorgeous ya?

I really admire your fortitude. I’m subject to heat exhaustion so I would have to be sitting these high temperature days out. I know you are probably further along than Connecticut and I will say the past four or five days here in NJ have been in the 80’s which is a relief after all those very hot 90 degree days. I’m hoping you are experiencing the same. Slack packing is a great idea. Before you know it, you’ll be in VT and NH. And it will be cooler. Holding you and Ziggy in my thoughts. Keep on hiking!

It's frustrating knowing what you're capable of, but circumstances won't facilitate. We had to adjust at work during the triple H's. Us Mainahs just weren't built for that kind of heat. Love your plan to slack SOBO back to the inn. Stay cool ✌️
