Friday marks day 9 of the Karen Read murder trial. Read is charged in the death of her Boston police officer boyfriend, John O’Keefe, who was found dead in the snow outside the home of a fellow officer in January 2022. Prosecutors accuse Read of hitting O’Keefe with her car while dropping him off at a party at the residence, leaving him to die. Meanwhile, Read's attorneys allege a sloppy investigation and a cover-up.

You'd think prosecutor in the USA wouldnt charge a woman with running down her boyfriend, unless they had confession, witnesses, or a video, or a coroner report that said the guy had been hit by a car. But, if the guy was a cop, found dead on a cop's lawn, well... guess prosecutor might make an exception

Strange situation! Why didn’t anyone from the house go out to look at the situation on their front lawn . Weren’t they concerned about having a dead man covered in snow in their yard , Weren’t they concerned who was dead, it could have been family they didn’t know either way, unless that cop talking to them was just as corrupt as the cops that lived in the house.

@Thomas-sx6mcwhere is the body cam or dash cam of her making those exact statements? Did she say I hit him with my car? I ran him over? Or did she say....it's my fault? Name me 1 other case that any of the investigating officers did NOT contact and get statements from all residents.....when a body is found on the property. Why didn't any officers enter the house looking for the deceaseds missing shoe?

The broken tail lights were found on top of the snow moreover a week later after they took her car as evidence. If she ran him over those lights would have been right next to his body that they would not miss them!!

Interesting the DA's stories seem strange and unlikely as opposed to the prosecutor's case seems more credible and likely....

Even if she is guilty - and I’m not for one second saying she is - the police botched their investigation so badly that enough reasonable doubt exists to prevent a conviction.
