HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!🥳🎈🎉
Hard to believe how many birthdays I've celebrated over here now...I was still 21 when I first moved here and now look at me, all...mature 🤧
We went to the Shiba Park Hotel to celebrate with a cozy afternoon tea that was themed after books...and also Chinese-Japanese-Western cultures?? Honestly I don't really know what is happening with this themeing decision but whatever I am here for it lolll
Unfortunately the weather kind of sucked my entire birthday weekend 😭 ...and I didn't really do much because I really hate planning for my birthday...is anyone else like this?? It feels so...ugh...to me now lol

Lemon bars there’s a bakery here and a year or two ago I started to get them a few times a year and one of those is my birthday I gift 2 to myself so I don’t over do them.

Baking a cake 🍰🎂☁️🪽💕 and having a celebration at home, around the table!🍽️🍴 and possibly going for a nice outing to a cafe 🍵✨☕️ or a meal out at a restaurant! I’m not too fussed even it just ends up being a chill day!💆🏾‍♀️🧖🏼‍♀️⛱️🍹🥂

For my birthday I love doing something relaxing. Aftrenoon Tea actually sounds like something I would really love to do on my birthday as well. And I allow myself to eat a bunch of sweets which I try to avoid when it is not my birthday / Christmas / Halloween and Easter, ahahahaha

I go to the church to hear Holy Mass, to thank God for another year of opportunity to live a meaningful and fulfilling life, not just for myself but for people around me who I can be if service too in my own little ways. Spread kindness. It's free and contagious. 😊🙏

Girl your intro was everything 😂 Happy birthday! Every year getting older just means you get to do more stuff. Adulthood means you do what you want lol. I don't really have a birthday tradition except food. I love to cook so on my birthday I usually indulge in some fancy ingredients I usually can't justify the expense of the rest of the year lol. Usually it's some fancy fish or fancy cheese or something lol. My wife (!!! just got married, still feels weird lol) always, every year, asks me to make her katsudon because her birthday is the only time I can be convinced to make that much effort. We're not sweets people, so instead of making a cake I go all out on dinner. It's fun!

Anyway, how is someone who is supposed to be closer to 30, supposed to look, old! 🤷🏽‍♀️Well, no! Most people, from teens to 30s don’t really change, although they may seem more adult or older, I don’t think people start to show signs of aging til 50s! Although, some people do look pretty good in that age bracket, it’s all about, self care, well being, health and genes which come into play!✨✨✨🙌👏 With your personality, I see through KZfaq, you could pass as 18!✨🫶🏻 Stay well!💘

Happy birthday, glad it looked like a great day! We actually stayed at the Shiba Hotel last year for a couple of days before flying out, it was very nice and they had a Christmas tree made of books as decoration in the main lobby area! Great view of the tower as you mentioned :)

Happy Birthday! My tradition is that I take the day off on my birthday. I usually do something that only I enjoy. I also usually eat asparagus or brussell sprouts because my husband hates them. Low key but enjoyable

Happy BDay! I usually don't plan anything and whenever anyone asks what my plans are, I'll just say: "probably a party, just come around". Works like a charm :D This year though, one of my best friends didn't find time to do anything for his BDay, until at some point he was like: "okay, this day!" Which was my birthday, so we just celebrated together. For the party we just did a Japanese buffet and chilled in the yard. Relaxed and nice :)

Happy belated Bday I turned 28 on the 23rd last month and I definitely hear the mourning my youth but I think we should be more looking at the brightness ahead versus what we’ve done accomplished and left behind. I’m looking forward to my 30’s with all the knowledge I gained in my twenties. Just a thought! Hope your having a great end to fall and start to Winter!

Going out for brunch or dinner with my friends and my parents enjoying good food and having a good time on my birthday. Except for next year when I’m turning 40. I want to make something different. So I’m planning a trip to South Korea and Japan, spending the last hours of my thirties in a nice ryokan and relaxing in an Onsen ♨️. At least that’s the plan. Let’s see how it works out 😁
