Okay, so it’s not a “typical” day in the life …
But Pete took his camera along for the ride, and shared his story with us.
You’ll see what a top tier age group athlete gets up to on event day, with everything from course recces, to a bit of last-minute technique practice.
There’s even cameo appearances from Brownlee Fitness head coach Bucko, and Alistair himself.
This was NOT a course for the fainthearted, and coupled with the intense feat, there’s no doubt the “challenging” aspect stretched far beyond just the organiser’s name!
With hilly climbs, fast descents, and sharp turns, it was definitely one for the adrenaline junkies out there.
