i just wanted to thank you so much for your videos! the importance of data analytics came up a lot in my professional journey in college, but i never took time to properly research it before seeing your videos. i realized how much i was interested in data and wanted after feeling so lost in what i wanted to do. im on a post grad break now and made my own self study plan to teach myself excel, SQL, tableau, and python. excited for your course!

I know it seems like a bit longer than most but I've seen in most companies including my own, you gotta go from intern to fresh to middle then senior and then manager. so think of the last 3,5 years as fresh - middle - senior and then MANAGER! you very much deserve it and this video is very informative, well done!

Congrats for the promotion! When you calculate CAGR, make sure that you calculate the beginning value as year 0. So let's say if you have 4 years data set, the formula will be =((ending value/beginning value)^(1/3))-1. I learned a lot from your videos and can't wait for your data analytics course!

This is the field I want to get into. I majored in IT, but life sent me more on a business management/marketing role. I’m seeking to refresh my technical skills so I’m definitely intrigued about the course you are working on. Would it be difficult to get in this type of role if the most solid technical skills that I currently have is excel? I understand programming relatively well, but I definitely need to freshen up on that. I’m also creating my own reports and pulling data as practice to present to my employers so they get a better understanding of what is going on in there practice just to get more experience.

I absolutely adore your videos. theyre so helpful while being so much fun to watch. question though, to anyone who can answer, can we move from a non-tech AND non-business background into business analytics? i feel like this role is something i can really see myself being but im worried that i dont have the necessary education for it. ofc ill do courses and maaaaybe a masters, but im scared of jumping into financial risk if it wont work out because of a lack of maybe an undergrad degree or something like that

I’m currently majoring in computer science and thinking of a business analyst career. I have a few questions. Do they train you when you land the job? And how ?
