I did the job but got out of it quick. They telling me my day starts at 6am in orientation. First day after orientation was done I had to be there at 4am. 2 hours may not seem like much but it’s a huge difference when you’re talking early morning, which means you gotta get in bed 2 hours earlier and so you see very little of your family. Also, the work is so stupid, moving the same 12 pack 4,5,6 times in a day because you’re restacking overstock pallets to make room, but the thing that chapped my ass the most was the product rotating. If I stock 12 pack coke today and those 12 packs have an expiration of May 10, 2024….. then I come back tomorrow to stock more 12 packs of coke to refill part of the shelf and those new 12 packs have an expiration of May 14th, 2024, I’m supposed to take all the May 10th packs off the shelf, put the new stuff on bottom and put the May 10th stuff on top…,,.. That. Is. Beyond. Stupid. If I was stocking gallons of milk that have a 2 week shelf life, ok, but stocking a product with a 8-9 month shelf life? Stupid and a labor intensive waste of time. Rotate the shit once a month and be done with it. Just stuff you don’t need to be doing everyday, days are long and hard enough having to always go help out other routes so your day goes 12, 14 hours. Just destroys your body, not meant for everyone. Wasn’t for me.
@yobootystank816011 ай бұрын
Yeah rotating the stock is annoying . I work in food service so I know how it is but I know this is on a bigger scale. In my area they’re looking for a merchandiser and the pay starts at $23. Not sure about applying tho after seeing these videos

The job takes a big toll on your body you are pulling and lifting heavy things all day and sometimes if you didn’t have a route like me you would get thrown onto other people’s lazy work then be blamed for it. My managers we’re lazy and they threw me out on my own after like 4 days of training. Start work at 6 am be up at 4:30am drive an hour to where I need to be. Do countless things in each store, to just go onto to the next. I had days were i was up at 4:30am got home at 6pm and had to get up and do it all again the next day with 1 day off.
