When you're a dog breeder who raises puppies in your home, every day is filled with love, care, and attention to the needs of your pups. My husband feeds the adult dogs and takes them for a walk, providing them with the exercise they need to be happy and healthy.
Throughout the day, I spend time socializing with my puppies, playing with them, and helping them get used to their surroundings. I take care to ensure that they are healthy and comfortable, checking on them regularly to make sure they are eating well and getting the exercise they need.
I also spend time cleaning up after my puppies, changing their bedding and keeping their living area clean and safe. This helps to ensure that they are healthy and happy and that they feel comfortable in their environment.
Being a goldendoodle breeder is a labor of love, and I am passionate about providing my puppies with the best possible start in life. It is a fulfilling career that allows me to share my love of dogs with others and help families find the perfect furry companion to add to their home.

Yes! I wish we had the option of the vet coming to our house. It's not easy taking 10-12 puppies to the vet. We use a wagon and that helps. Not to mention it's super cute to see a litter of golden retriever puppies in a wagon 🥰🤗

Someone would have to be deaf and blind not to see how much hard work it takes to be a golden doodle breeder!! I imagine that to be a successful breeder you have to love golden doodles!! The thing is that you love what you do and that is rewarding in itself. I love seeing your channel. I have a 3 year old mini golden doodle and she brings much joy and happiness into our lives 🥰!!

I loved this, Erin. You do things very differently from us, but your way is equally fantastic. One of the things I love when finding good and ethical breeders is how different everyone does things, but the end goals are the same: to produce top notch puppies who receive the best start in life and then match them to the appropriate families. Also, I can't imagine 29 puppies at once that are larger than 5 pounds by the time they are eight weeks old. It absolutely makes sense why you would have your vet come to your home instead of trying to bring them all into the office. Eep. Also also, the amount of grooming and bathing you must do when preparing them to go home! I have two years or so to prepare for the regular grooming of one, but I think that that will be more than enough! Eep eeeep

Oh that’s great. And I would say they are a bit whiny and I have to remind them they have food and milk. Then they all come over and all is well again. That lasts for maybe 2-3 days.

When I take litters to the vets I use 3 crate kennels (2 with puppies, 1 to transfer to)-makes carrying them in easier and we empty one crate to the third as exams happen. I too worry about bio security even though they sanitize everything between patients.

Find ones that align with your understanding, but the two mentioned above have a great many hours of excellent training tutorials

Thank you for this video. I am currently weaning our pups at 4 weeks. Mom dog is so ready. Can i ask how often you feed the puppies? Also, do you have a feeding schedule where you are still incorporating mom? Right now we are letting mom feed at 5am, then mush at 10am, then mom and mush at 3pm, then mom at 8pm, then just mush about midnight. Is this too frequent? Thank you.

All of our moms are guardians. So they are with their families and then they come to us for having their puppies. So when it comes time to wean they are super excited to see their family again . Some guardians come visit but some can’t get away from work or family life.

Help with the million Texas street dogs suffering, starving, breeding n dying in the streets. Or rescue street dogs where you live. Don't breed . adopt a homeless street dog or a dog from a shelter. This is not cute it's a insult to animal control that has to kill pets bc of overpopulation. Get your pets spay n neutered. There are not enough pet homes n animals are being killed because there is no more space. We cannot adopt our way out of the dog cat overpopulation. Do the animals n world a favor don't breed to kill.

Each year, 6.3 million pets enter U.S. shelters, an average of 17,260 a day, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Around 920,000 surrendered animals euthanized each year. As per ASPCA And here you just added 29 pups. Could you, at least, suggest checking out shelters for doodles? I'm seeing the worst matted doodles there are golden doodles. Heartbreaking!
