Thought I'd do a little bit of a different video and give you a more in-depth look at what my day is like! This is how I'd structure a day where I only have 1 class (it's more reading/extracurricular heavy!) If you like this type of video, I'll show you how I approach days with 2-3 classes! :)

Love your videos so much -- starting 1L in the fall! Do you feel that 2L requires less reading and studying than 1L? And/or just that there is less pressure on grades in 2L/3L and you learned during 1L how to do law school efficiently? I see lots of 2 and 3Ls doing journals, internships, clinics etc and always wonder how they find the time, given that typically 1L is entirely studying and reading. Love your makeup, your skin is beautiful!!

yes!! 2L is definitely WAY easier than 1L! I think generally 2Ls/3Ls take fewer credits than 1Ls, and those credits aren't all doctrinals anymore! Seminars/reading groups/clinics are still work but a different kind of work that's less stressful/intense I think. There is also definitely way less pressure on grades after 1L for those of us who have biglaw jobs! Life gets way easier after 1L! It's still a lot of work, but I also definitely think that I took more intense classes so I'm on one side of the 2L work spectrum, I know people who read/study way less than I do!

I’m applying to HLS next fall, If I have a 170+ LSAT and 3.85 GPA, and some work and life experience, can that make up for lacking extra curriculars? That’s my biggest worry, it’s cuz I’m an online student.

This may sound like a dumb question, but why do you type on your laptop as you read/ what are you typing?

Not a dumb question! I’ve found that I process/remember readings best when I type out notes as I read. So if it’s a case, I’ll type out key facts and parts of the reasoning that seem important to me. And in class, the prof will point out the extra important stuff! And I just go back and emphasize that in my notes when I outline

the only hard thing about Harvard law school is getting in. after that, you pretty much just have to show up and graduate. 55% of students pass, 37% receive honors. the rest receive a low pass. the privilege of the IV League. must be nice.
