Lets Go WWOOF'ing! Here's a video showing what it is like during a typical 'day in the life' of a wwoof'er in small town Italy. Fruit lovers get ready! Do you need any prior experience with farming related work before they give you the opportunity to woof on over to the farm?
@capitalveg

None! Some farms may be looking for more skilled labour but 97% are just wanting to teach and share with people open to learn.

Well one, i've been travelling for over a year so your part time job isn't going to cut it and two, its not about the food and a bed? its one of the most amazing experiences ever. We are life long friends with our hosts, we share knowledge and learn from one another...

I'm really interested in the WWOOF program, but a big part of it would be about travelling. I'm a little bit worried that working on the farm would be so tiring that you just pass out after the day is done. How did you feel after a day's work? Still good enough to explore the town you're in?

Wwoofing is basically free. You have to get in contact with the host family over the countries' website. They give you room and board in exchange for the work that you do on the farm.

Hello. Basically you search up WWOOF Italy on google and go on their website. You have to pay $41 USD and it gives u insurance and membership access. Then once they approve you, you are able to contact various hosts around the country to see which one will accept you. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Cause all i really want to do is volunteer work and traveling so when i read about WWOOF i was "This is what i want to do" but like i also want to be able to sight-see and i feel like working on the farms all day u wouldn't really be able too.
