I was never really trained to pre-twist before putting a wire nut on. Whenever I need to remove a wire nut, to change something or add a wire, I noticed that my conductors are all fitting in the wire pretty well. So I’m not sure I need to pre-twist. I think this is one of those things a lot of people tend to argue about though. Haha
