So in case you were wondering, Scar was diagnosed with a neuromuscular disease at age 18 that has weakened his muscles and permanently confined him to a wheelchair. It’s also weakened his diaphragm and makes it hard to breathe, which is why he uses external oxygen. I think it’s pretty cool that he’s found a successful career that has made him into a success and brings people enjoyment! Although in my opinion he deserves like four times as many subscribers... Another great thing is that his disability doesn’t make people feel sympathy, but respect. Love you Scar! (And your snail house too!)

Dude, youre a hero. Honest to god. I had no idea you were disabled in any way, shape or form. You perpetually sound like you have a smile on your face, and from watching this video I can see that 80% of the time you do, and when you don't, you look like you're holding one back. This could well be my favourite video on KZfaq because something about Scar's demeanour, his outlook on life and, of course, his beautiful, genuine positivity that is more contagious than the flu gives me this cosy, wholesome feeling and this video really emphasises that. Hey I know this is 3+ years late but just wanted to say that it is awesome that your grandpa cared so much about you and was able to express that by making the model/figurine of your avatar... there is something special about grandpas. My grandpa passed away this year and although he didn't show his affection through models or crafting, this reminded me of him and his love and attention for myself and my cousins growing up. I’ve been in a wheelchair even since I was 7 and people have always told me that I can’t do anything that I’m useless in a wheelchair, I’ve found ways to cheer myself up but never really that much. Seeing you, who’s someone I love watching doing all these things makes me feel like maybe I can reach my goals one day. Even if you never see this, I just wanted to give a big thanks. Edit 2 years later: So I’ve come back to this video after 2 years to see this comment! Thanks for all the support, I’m doing good at the moment. I never realized that Scar was disabled till now. I have mad respect for him and his content. Scar is honestly that one KZfaqr who can always make me laugh and smile, even on bad days. He truly is a talented soul and I’m glad I came across his channel.

The wheelchair runs on redstone and villager power I assume?

My dad has lime disease and caused nerve damage throughout the left side of his body. He is in crutches and wheelchairs. At first the doctors didn’t diagnose him with anything. But after 6 years they finally did. It was to late to fix at that point so he resorted to alcohol. My parents fought and for divorced. He now is 2 years sober and plays Minecraft and Clash of Clans daily with me. I’ve tried to get him to stream but he says he just doesn’t want to. I respect his decision and I respect you! I didn't know you were disabled till i saw your video today, you're an inspiration. I am also disabled and i've actually been in a nursing facility for quite a while now, and i was thinking about starting to stream my minecraft and other games on twitch, although it may be harder to do in a facility, you gave me some inspiration to keep going with the idea. :)
