Our 7 month old frenchie was trained to sleep all night in his crate until he was 5 months old. We started to put him in our bed earlier and earlier every morning. Now he has been sleeping with us during the whole night. Occasionally we have him sleep in his crate so he does not forget that skill he does not mind but we miss him when he is not in bed with us.

Hi Laura, I came across your videos today and they are fantastic. Your Mable looks so much like our little girl Bella (11 weeks old) and she is so adorable. My pup is 10 months old and she is a frenchton which is half French Bulldog and half Boston Terrier and if you know anything about Bostons you know they are absolutely insane she's so energetic and so crazy. Love her 😂

I want one of these so bad. I lost my two babies a year apart. One was 10 and the other 15. I got the from birth. Its been over a year without a baby dog. Ive been watching these video and have fell in love with these dogs. Ive made up my mind that this is the only kind I need.

Why do you need to crate her when you go out? Is she not house trained etc? That crate is a bit small, too. A dog needs to have room to stand up, turn around and have access to water...😖

Check out the latch on the outside of the crate. That's a sign of significant and consistent chewing which is often due to separation anxiety. If left on her own with the run of the house there's a decent chance that pup would chew up every surface it could get its jaws around. Also, some dogs prefer a smaller crate since it makes them feel safe, same principal as a tight fitting Thunder Shirt during a storm. And if the owner is only going to the gym for an hour or so then it's perfectly fine not to provide water for that small an amount of time. Plus, if the dog DOES have separation anxiety and water WERE to be provided inside the crate then she might knock the bowl over, drenching her bedding and forcing her to lie in damp blankets which could cause all sorts of health problems. This is coming from 15 years experience as a veterinary technician. Different dogs have different needs and you shouldn't judge and criticise other people's care of their pups without knowing the full story. Separation anxiety can be a VERY difficult problem to manage and sometimes crating is the best option.

My 5 month old frenchie gets up at 6:30 just to pee then goes back to sleep at 8 am he eats breakfast and play, or just walks around until lunch, eat lunch and naps from 3pm until 6pm. At 7 pm he goes crazy he jumps runs and lit goes crazy. Hahahaha
