A man with COPD is suffering from confusion due to his poor health. Worried he has a deteriorating chest infection, the paramedics rush him to hospital and call ahead to the emergency room. Elsewhere, paramedics deal with an elderly woman who has refused to take her medication for an E-coli infection.
For the very first time, an ambulance has been rigged with cameras that provide a unique perspective on what it's like to respond to emergency calls. 'Inside The Ambulance' follows paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service in England as they take us right into the heart of the action. We see heroism at work in the actions of these first responders. We also enter the lives of people in crisis and learn their unique stories.

People cave my head in. Sick as a pup, but POSSIBLE side effects-which are usually pretty uncommon- are scarier than getting much sicker or dying. So frustrating.

@melanytodd2929 That is sad. As for America, what they charge for a trip to hospital, most people would rather wait in emergency for six to eight hours.

One has to take care of it's health...as far as you can do...but John seemed to have been smoking before,not taking care of his diabetes and his wife -bless her- has a 24/7-job to take care of him...

From what I can see, so many people abuse your ambulance system. The 111 plan just gives people a reason not to go wait their turn in a&e. Example: the pregnant lady with flu symptoms. They even had a car in the driveway, so why not drive yourself to a care center? I suppose it is the same here in the US, but I'm just surprised to see so many ambulance trips for non-emergency reasons.
