LeighAnn, I have been watching you since the beginning. Through every apartment, move, college graduation, hairstyles, all of it! I’ve enjoyed watching you through every stage of life (we’re similar age and went through a lot “together”). Didn’t think I could be an even bigger fan than I already am but watching you be a mom is the most heartwarming and inspiring thing. You’ve always been good at every job, but I think being a mom might just be the role you were made for! Lucy couldn’t have picked anyone better to be her mama! Thank you for uploading this. It actually made me cry because you can feel the love and dedication through the screen. I am an Speech therapist at a special needs school and have a lot of children who require lots of needs and therapies like Lucy. It's just amazing to see what the realities are once they are at home for some of these happy and innocent children.

This was the SWEETEST video! I raised my autistic daughter by myself and I was extremely lucky to have all the services and therapies I did for her... it's a full time job for sure so I understand why you are exhausted. There is always an appointment, a therapy session, a bunch of phone calls, constant care/bathing/feeding/playing/engaging, etc!... ! It's all worth it as it takes a lot of different strategies for a child's well-being. And you never know what will work best for your particular child. I would talk with other parents while my kiddo was with the therapist if I wasn't needed in the session and learned so much from their experiences and knowledge. Other parents are a great support system! This video really made my day... Lucy is absolutely a delight!!

My son has autism and is nonverbal. He will be 9 this month and we found out at 2. There were a lot of feelings I had to work through, kind of a mourning of what I thought his life would be. But now God has shown my husband and I just how blessed we are to have been chosen to be his parents. He brings us a ridiculous amount of joy! We laugh so hard cause he is hilarious and we celebrate every milestone like we are attending his graduation everyday. I have a 24 year old daughter and raising her was amazing but there is so much more to celebrate daily with him that we have to smile on our worst days. Anyways God chose y’all both so celebrate all the good and let God carry you through the rest💕🌺💙

My son is 16 months has hypotonia-dysphagia- sleep apnea. They believe he had a stroke either before or during birth. Today as I was sitting on the porch I saw the neighbors baby who is in 10months waving and clapping. Things my son who is much older cannot. And I just started sobbing. Ruined my mood for the day. So hard not to compare. Then I see this video and reminded me others are going through the same ❤

Oh Leigh Ann, I followed you so many years ago, I don’t even remember. Just came to see what’s new in your life and I’m mindblown. You’re an amazing mum! In the meantime I gave birth to my little Félix, he was born premature on 31st week of pregnancy. We spent 5 weeks on ICU. It was a hard time, but even difficult memories become important for me over time. I wish you only happy moments from now on :) thank you for sharing it all with us ❤

I've been watching your channel for almost 12 years. It actually brings tears of joy to my eyes to watch you and Grant and Lucy. The meal planning - decision fatigue is a VERY real thing! I assigned "themes" for every night (meatless Monday, taco Tuesday, etc) and we have one night per week that is the exact same every week (pizza Friday). Anything to make that monotonous chore simpler is a WIN! My family is so picky, what kind of flexibility is there with the recipes? Lucy is absolutely beautiful! She looks like the happiest girl. And I am not shocked, but also love to see, how amazing you are with her. She was definitely picked for you, and you for her. 🥰 Seeing you guys always makes me so happy. I am SO grateful for a new vlog, and I deeply appreciate all of the effort this took. We are your people!!!

Girl I have no clue how you did everything you did! Waking up at 5:45 and getting your day started like you did! Whoa! I do need to get a better routine down for myself. I just came across your channel. I am in Houston as well and have a toddler who was diagnosed last summer with Leukemia. I know these are different diagnoses and each have their own challenges but watching your videos made me feel a certain way that I can’t put into words. It feels so lonely when you’re going through something like this. You feel like no one else could possibly understand. My eldest has cerebral palsy and those teeny tiny AFO’s took me clean out! I have kept every stage of his splints it’s madness to see them grow so much! He’s almost 18 now and is so strong and independent!! I feel like he was this size as if it were yesterday! I know they’re not the same but you & baby Lucy! I wish you all the health and happiness in the world!! ❤
