to lessen the cry during bath time, heat up the room or use a heater next to him, also be sure that the water is warm on your wrist enough to feel hot but not burning and wrap him in a cloth towel and pour the water over the towel instead. He's crying because is cold, with that age they have a lot of difficulty maintaining the body temperature. Remember the hot amniotic fluid coming down when they popped your waters, that is the hot is used to and will appreciate the bath a lot more if you can mimic that warm feeling. As he grows he will start to tolerate cold a little bit better :)

Congratulations, Mama!! You are so cute, and Sean is so adorable. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant, and we already have a 9 year old. I can't wait to meet our new baby. I feel the same way with our 9 year old I really want to make sure I don't neglect and allow time for both our children. Newborns are absolutely adorable. My twin girls are almost 3 now and I miss the new born stage so much. Your little boy is absolutely adorable which temporarily makes me want to have another baby. I don’t think I will though. My pregnancy didn’t go smoothly the first time so I’m so scared of being pregnant again

I have a 3 month old and she seems to be doing fine with noise my son is two-and-a-half and he makes a lot of noise but make sure with your son to have him wrapped or hold him for a while because they do get scared when they hear a crash or something really light noise I don't know why

Super hack for bath time for new born . Cut a hole in an old wash towel and put it over the belly button so it does cover it and wash them it works wonders

You probably already know this, but for breastfeeding clothes when I'm worried about modesty I just wear a nursing tank under a normal shirt. That way my tummy is covered! If I feel the need I'll use a nursing cover too but I don't always feel the need.

I just wear my regular cute clothes lift my shirt and throw a very thin muslin blanket over us while I nurse. They have nursing covers too. Either of those options is cheaper and more convenient?

I mean this in the kindest way.. why are you getting dressed for your parents? They have been in your position and know who exhausting it is to have a baby. Also, if you do not want visitors (especially ones that judge your appearance after birth), tell them not to come. ♥️ BTW you are doing an amazing job!

I know it’s your 3rd baby but don’t get him used to your arms . Will be so hard in the long run. He will get used to being warm and close to you and it’s nice to bond but walking around the house holding him all day will make him dependant on being held all the time

Put the baby in the sink give him his gentle bath then wrap him up good and wash his hair. Sometimes you don't have a bath tub. And you do what you can
