The environment looks like if I were to go hiking in the woods or a canyon that's how realistic they look! Some of the shots looked like they were taking in real life too.

The dev livestreams in discord are always fun to be apart of as you can get a sneak peak of things coming as well as ask soo many questions.

It's really great how many questions they can get through as well. Not many Devs spend 2 hours personally answering questions live in front of their community.

I upgraded my computer back in July, knowing the UE5 update was going to require a beefy computer. Was really funny when Jao posted the recommended requirements and I met them exactly. So excited for the Nanite foliage to hit the test server, it looks incredible! Also, the elemental's swing has such a long wind up, its going to require some skill to hit a moving target.

That's amazing, a lot of games are making the upgrade, and I'm going to need to myself to be able to show DoD off in the best way. Aye, the Elementals are powerful, but slow, they are going to need to be really skillful if they want to survive in a world full of dragons.

If you look at a picture of the game now and another from ue5 they look like completely different games, this update is going to be amazing!

Holy crap those maps looks amazing. Honestly the only thing that soured the Elemental teaser were the few comments still calling Day of Dragons a scam.

They can call it a scam all they like. These days 'scam' is more 'something I don't like, which is fine. The truth is that a lot of them have been calling the game a scam for so long that to change their opinion would force them to admit they are wrong, and society has imposed that being ‘wrong’ is a bad thing.

I missed that stream 😢 Thank you for showing off some of the footage. The environment looks amazing and I can't wait to play in it. I recently upgraded my pc, so it can handle UE5 much better as well.

Its always such a pain to upgrade but with all these new games swtichign to UE5, now really is a great time to do it.

Nice that they are planning to let people port their dragons over from the legacy servers. Looking forward to the future updates.

The Legacy dragons will only be able to port to the legacy servers, of which only 2 will be open. Unreal 4 dragons are not compatible with Unreal 5

I'm confident my pc can handle the update as it can run Draconia which moves to UE5 some time ago. That said the game seems to have an issue with the 3d clouds which seems to be an error in UE5 itself. Still looking forward to this eventual update.

UE5.2 has just released which is the update the Devs have been excited for as it fixs a lot of the issues 5.1 had in it. Can't wait to see what they can do with the engine

I would like to see some animals in the game, becouse hunting on worms, it's an affront to dragon dignity.

There are more AI coming. In 1.0 it will add the Sand slayer worm as well as the Dune weaver and Swamp snapper

When the new map comes can we still play with all dragons that will come out in the legacy or will it be like the isle where they stop caring about the legacy im asking because even though i wanna play in the new map it will be impossible since i dont have an RTX and buying one is totally out of question unless they optimize the best they can about the changes ofc😢

There will be two official legacy servers and you can decide which set of official server dragons you want to have on them. Private server owners will also be able to hose their own legacy servers

Hello! Is there something in the settings that I can adjust on day of dragons to make the game less laggy? My game is very very VEry laggy, making it unbearable to play..

Lag or latency is usually caused by your internet connection and where the server is located. Unless it's possible to get better internet installed or use an ethernet cable there is little you can do to improve this.

This year for sure. They are hoping for the first half, but that will depend on how 5.2 for Unreal 5 performs. That said, they have been showing off what they have been working on and the next Dev Livestream will be all about the Magma

Same, I'm actually hoping to just upgrade my graphics card (and maybe power supply) graphics cards have dramatically dropped in price compared to what they were a few years ago.
